2023 ELECTION: Mammoth crowds at Recent Political Rallies...'NIGERIA IS COMING'

TRENDING:  POLITICAL RALLIES IN NIGERIA

Nigerians have expressed their joy at the mammoth crowd seen at campaign grounds and political rallies of different political parties across the country.

While some people feel the crowd is rented by politicians and their handlers to parade as members of their political parties and supporters of their candidates, others think there are genuine crowds.

Some of the youths attending the rallies started registering their support for their candidates, even before the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared open the campaign season.

Such rallies tagged ‘One million-man or two million-man march and now 'Four and Five million-man matches have taken place in cities like Jos, Kaduna, FCT, among others, for Peter Obi of the Labour Party and other candidates.

It's a clear indication that Nigerian youths have risen from their political slumber in every sense and you can see that from the way they organize and conduct themselves at such rallies - Highly disciplined!

They seek a better Nigeria where opportunities will be available for them to start their careers and advance it.  Where things work and where unemployment, banditry, and crime are brought down to their lowest.

A Nigeria, where the people are empowered to produce at full capacity.  I mean where even the least educated artisan has the tools and environment to do meaningful work and earn a decent living income.  They believe it is possible!

They have therefore risen to lead the change through the ballot box.  They know that things can only start working in Nigeria when the right leader is elected into office.  Hence the youthful Nigerian zeal that we are seeing today at every rally, which has become the new face of Nigeria internationally.  They are saying that in essence that 'Nigeria is coming'!

There is hope for Nigeria.  The 'Japa' phenomenon, a situation where young Nigerians rush abroad for menial jobs that emasculate them of their educational qualification and training will soon come to an end.  Fortunately, it is the youths themselves that are leading the change.

Countries with youthful leaders:

1. SANNA MARIN  -  FINLAND  -  Age at the moment; 36 years old

2. Kim JONG-UN  -  North Korea  -  Age at the moment; 39 years old

3. NAYIB BUKELE  -  El Salvador  -  Age at the moment; 40 years old

4. TAMIM BIN HAMAD AL THANI  -  Qatar  -  Age at the moment; 41 years old

5. EMMANUEL MACRON  -  France  -  Age at the moment; 44 years old

The prophecy of Nigeria's greatness is about to unfold, and I pray that the new leader will not disappoint the nation.

Fireinthebone Hope and Advice:

1. This move of the youth across Nigeria should be an intentional one, leading them to join the political parties of their choice, before and after the elections.

2. Once in the political parties, they should take their activism to the grassroots of Nigerian politics and register themselves at the Ward level where the Leaders are selected by the Ward delegates at party conventions.  The youths should register their presence there, and be able to alter the 'Money-Bag politics' from the grassroots.

3. They should progress through the structures into the State houses of assemblies.  We need young people as counsellors and local government chairmen, and the youths have the agility and capacity to deliver in these areas.

4. Be vigilant, and watch over your votes.  It is your duty of care for a free and fair election in 2023.

CONCLUSION:

Friends, Jesus is coming soon.  It is the loving-kindness of God that He has kept you alive till now, give the Lord praise. If you have not yet received Him as Lord and Saviour, I plead with you to do it now.

Today is the day of salvation. Tomorrow could be too late.

Say this simple prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ.

I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again for my justification. I repent of my sins and ask for forgiveness. I ask Jesus to come into my heart and reign as my Lord and Saviour.

I receive Him by faith and I am born again.
