THE GRACE THAT RESCUES FROM DANGER
Grace is an invisible and invincible spiritual force that comes into your life and causes things to work- out supernaturally. It is an act of God, a divine endowment from God through Christ. man and it comes from Jesus Christ alone.
In Christ, you're no longer under the law, so that when the law says you must follow 5 steps to blessing, grace says it is a free gift, get it now!
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ are the awesome benefits purchased for us on the cross. Without going into the doctrine of grace which covers everything we obtain from the Lord, I want to speak about the rescuing grace.
Salvation is a free gift from God to all men who believe in Jesus Christ. It is a free provision coming from God's mercy, without anyone asking for it, or working for it. That is why the Bible says it is FREE.
But the rescuing grace is a provision made by God for our deliverance. This grace flow from our personal relationship with the Lord and our understanding of the graces of God available to the saints.
The rescuing grace is one of those things freely available to children of God. It relates to your freedom in Christ, your dominion walk and success in your Christian journey. It belongs to you, but you will have to ask for it.
The rescuing grace is one of the most encouraging gifts of salvation, that is why Apostle Paul says "Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us." 1 John 5:14
That is why the benediction of Apostle Paul to the Corinthians continues to vibrate in the heart of many believers today, because of the blessings embedded in that one single prayer.
"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the Communion of the Holy Ghost be with you all - 2 Cor 13:14".
Here are the three forces that will be with us and escort to eternity... The grace of our Lord Jesus, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit.
He prayed that the Corinthian Christians will understand the grace of God accompanying their salvation. We all need to understand this grace and apply it anytime we are in need, whenever we fall into sin, or the bondage of the devil.
The Rescuing grace is like an "Olive branch", when you sin, you repent of the evil and you're forgiven. When you fall into the trap of the enemy, you cry to the Lord for deliverance, and His Almighty hands are stretched to you.
Every born again Christian knows that we can do nothing without the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When you understand the rescuing grace, walking in dominion becomes easy and your faith in God will be boosted. You will have faith in God that answers prayers - See Rom 3:24.
God chooses ordinary people and gives them the grace to accomplish what would ordinarily be impossible. He specializes in lifting up people who have a humble and contrite heart, people who tremble at His word and obey them.
What is Rescuing Grace
Rescuing grace is a heavenly provision to meet difficult times and situations in the life of a child of God. When God said in Jeremiah 33:3 "Call unto Me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not", that's the rescuing grace, God's provision for your deliverance.
Rescuing grace is shown to a person in need, sometimes between life and death situations, when all hope of living is gone. A man was bedridden for months without any solution in sight, and after the doctors have exhausted their expertise, they gave the man one more week or so to live.
Suddenly the sick man remembers that Jesus died for his freedom and good health, he began to speak to the sickness inside his body to die and come out of his body. He continued to insist that he is borne again and the sickness cannot kill him.
He rejected the sickness and the affliction under which he had been subjected, insisting the sickness will not kill him in the name of Jesus Christ, gradually he discovered that strength entered into his body and he could get up from the bed, could walk unhindered, and ultimately got healed without any drugs.
That's the rescuing grace, activated by faith in the Word of God. Make no mistakes about this, It is the grace of God that makes the difference in people. Those who understands and exercise their faith in God do exploits and accomplish great things.
The name of Jesus given to us is a wonderful grace, through which all our needs are met in prayer. Imagine what life would be like if Jesus was not there for us.
What will happen when the enemy concludes their evil plans against you? And you have nobody to fight for you. But in Christ, the Bible says when the enemy shall come up like a flood, the spirit of God will lift a standard above them, that's grace.
Jesus says to Paul, look here Paul, the enemy desired to shift you, but I have prayed for you, that's the rescuing grace.
Many times believers offend without knowing, but by His grace we are reconciled back to God when we repent and confess the sin to God in prayer.
A prophet was running away from God's assignment and got swallowed by a big fish. But right in the belly of the fish, he cried unto the Lord for mercy, and the Lord heard him and commanded the fish to vomit him.
His disobedience caused him to be swallowed, but grace brought him out of the belly of a fish after 3 days. He was swallowed, but not eaten, that's grace.
Some people have committed terrible mistakes and sometimes deliberate acts, and the enemy is holding their life in bondage since then, the grace of Jesus will set you free today.
It could be that you have offended the person you're not expected to offend, your destiny helper, and you're lonely and suffering great hardship, the grace of Jesus will restore you into favour again.
The grace of Jesus will locate you anywhere you call to Him from. His blood was shed on the cross is for your freedom. Christ died that you may be free, see 2 Corinth 8:9 and His grace is greater than all your sins see Romans 5:20.
Present reality
Many people, including believers, are in the belly of different fish without knowing. A lot of young people have strolled into the camp of their enemies, becoming lawful captives, and hardship is now playing out in their lives.
You may be unemployed or in the wrong employment, the grace is available to set you free. It could be the bondage of a man or woman, who refused to let you go. Grace restores you from bondages when you repent and cry to the Lord for help.
Prophet Jonah did so and was delivered. Hezekiah cried unto the Lord with reasons, and the Lord heard him and canceled his death sentence, and instead, 15 years was added to him.
You have to recognize the grace of our Saviour is available to you, and go to the Lord with a humble and repentant heart you, and cry to Him for help and deliverance.
What to do
Salvation: The starting point is to surrender your heart unto Jesus Christ and receive Him as your Lord and Savior. Do this by saying the following prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I am a sinner and I believe Jesus died for my sins, and He arose for my justification. I, therefore, open my heart to receive Him as my Lord and Savior.
Lord Jesus Christ, come and reign in my heart. Thank You for saving my life, make me Your own from today, and write my name in the book of life. You're born again!
Actions to take in activating the grace
1. Identify the sin or error that put you in the bondage.
2. Repent of it and confess it to God in prayer
3. Pray and ask for mercy. Cry to the Lord to forgive you and deliver you from the bondage you are passing through.
4. Believe by faith that the Lord has answered your prayer, and then.
5. Speak to that mountain, or a strongman or woman to depart from your life. Let them know that you have repented of the sin, and has also obtained forgiveness from the Lord, hence they have no more legal ground to keep you in bondage.
6. Declare your freedom from their oppression in the name of Jesus Christ.
Conclusion
Finally, my beloved friends, Jesus is coming back very soon, to take believers into a life of peace and joy, without trouble and pains in paradise. If you will receive Him as your Lord and Saviour today, He will give you the power to succeed in life and make heaven at last.
For those who are considering whether to surrendering their heart to Him or not, I plead with them to do so without delay, tomorrow may be too late.
