TRENDING 2021 FASHIONS ..... Gorgeous Lovers of God

SISTERS IN CHRIST,

Give thanks to the Lord for His mercies.

We are in a unique time in history and a lot of things seem to be pointing to a fresh beginning for the world.  Starting from COVID-19 and the fight to put it behind us, to the security challenges around the world, the believer knows that the second coming of our Lord is around the corner.

If the second coming is around the corner, how should we all behave?  Simple - We should all live as though today is our final day on earth.  We should be a blessing unto others.  We should never mistreat strangers and people of other faith, we should walk in love towards God and man.

We should never be a stumbling block to the spiritual and physical progress of others and we should not be selfish.  We should posit the Lord.  We should also do the work of God - Tell people of the sacrifice, Jesus Christ, for their redemption and what they stand to benefit by receiving Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

We should walk in love without hypocrisy, for love is the greatest of all the virtues.  Love thinks and does good to others.

I want to appeal to our sisters in Christ, who are not yet dressing as though the Lord is at the door to embrace virtuous dressing.  In the bible, there is a dressing the bible regards are the dress of harlot. Sisters should take such fashion away from their wardrobe this year.

A shirt should be worn with a skirt, and never alone.  A gown should flow down to cover your whole body so you look gorgeous with dignity before men.  There is no gain in skimpy dresses.  If any, it will be that you will be attracting the wrong type of men to yourself.

If you have received the grace of knowing Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, then show it by your dressing and speech.  There is no dignity in dressing to impress men and by so doing displease your God.

The Lord frowns at double standards.  How does it feel for you to dress well to church and dressing scantily to your office or the market?

Remember, you will be addressed the way you appear.  If your appearance that of a sex symbol, that is how men will look at you and address you.  You are created in the image of God and your body is the temple of the Spirit of God that lives in you, so respect your body and dignify your body always.

Each time you dress in a seductive manner, you will be sending the wrong message to your weak brothers in Christ.  At the same time, unbelieving guys will show up in your life.  These are guys full of lust and bad thoughts.

Believe me, many times such men expose the lady to things and immoralities she can never imagine for the sake of money, and by the time they are through with that unfortunate lady, she may never recover.

People around you are watching to see the type of born-again sister you are. Born-again by profession - word of mouth or born-again in spirit and truth?

Children in your community are also watching to see the kind of Sister you are.  The one they can emulate her speech and behaviour?

As I close this exhortation, think of the message you are passing to men with your dressing.  Are you calling yourself a 'play-girl, a cheap girl or a godly girl and a virtuous wife-material?  Think about this when you think of buying a new dress or even fabric.

Honour the Lord your God by dressing well.  You are beautiful and wonderfully made by God.  Do not expose sensitive parts of your body to the public.  Do not devalue or desecrate your body through unworthy dressing, the Lord is at the door!

Sisters, let the name of the Lord be glorified in your life and your dressing.

CONCLUSION

Friends, Jesus is coming soon.  If you have not yet received Him as Lord and Saviour, I plead with you to do it now.  If you are ready to surrender your heart to Christ, say this prayer:

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ.
I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again for my justification. I repent of my sins and ask for forgiveness. I ask Jesus to come into my heart and reign as my Lord and Saviour.

I receive Him by faith and I am born again.

Happy 2021!
