GREAT MINISTERS OF GOD........Appreciate them, pray for them!

 

GOSPEL MINISTERS IN NIGERIA

Introduction

Nigeria is blessed with great Ministers of the Lord Jesus Christ in the area of Music.  We have gifted men and women, young and the experienced, with the grace to bring down the presence of God into any sanctuary of the Lord any day.

The influence of their music stretches far and wide, into the souls of men.  Many of them play gospel blues, traditional church rhythms, Contemporary African High life and R&B etc.  They may come from diverse musical persuasions and styles, but one thing that is clear is their connection to the Lord and the Holy Spirit.


Recently, I have been enjoying powerful praise songs from young Nigerian Music Stars, Ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ and I give God glory for blessing us with men and women who can lead others into the worship of our GREAT AND MIGHTY GOD, LORD JESUS CHRIST.

These are quality Christian music with meaning. Good lyrics and edifying Words and I think chilren of God should appreciate and pray for them.  Pray that the Lord will keep them from evil, error and the deception of Satan. I cannot mention all of them, and I plead with the well-established ministers whose names are not mentioned here, Fireinthebone appreciates them all.  

As a matter of fact, I was motivated by the youth of many of them in writing this post.  They are quite young and spirit-filled and one of the things we can do for them is to pray for them.

Glory to God for His mercies on these ministers, whose songs praise and worship the excellency and greatness of our God.  

Some of the recent songs I have heard seem downloaded from the throne of mercy and I thank the Lord Jesus for how He is helping them to stay focused on His praise and worship.

Please welcome these Ministers of the Lord:

Nathaniel Bassey

They are extolling the name of the Lord and blessing His name forever according to scriptures.  These ministers are declaring God's goodness, graciousness, love and kindness toward His children.  They declare the goodness of the Lord and His majesty.

I want to use Psalms 145, 149 and 150 to illustrate their wonderful praise and worship in the kingdom of God. Psalms 145:1-9 explains their Kingdom role to include the following:

1. Exaltation unto God: I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name forever and ever.

2 Praises unto God:  Every day will I bless thee, and I will praise thy name forever and ever.

3 Declare His unsearchable greatness: Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.

Sinach

4 His Mighty Acts: One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.

5 His Majesty: I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.

6 His Mighty works: And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.

Dusin

7 His Goodness: They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.

8 His graciousness: The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

9 His goodness: The Lord is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. Psalms 145:1-9

Ada

Ps 145:12-17:  They make known His greatness to the sons of men:

12. They declare God's mighty works: To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.

13 His dominion: Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.

14 His grace: The Lord upholds all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.

15 Why people should wait on Him: The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.

16 God satisfies all men: Thou openest Thine hand and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

17 His righteousness: The Lord is righteous in all his ways and holy in all his

18 Why people should call on Him: The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

19 Why people should fear the Lord: He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.

20 The security from God: The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.

21 They praise the Lord: My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name forever and ever.

Mercy Chinwo

Psalms  149:

1. Praising the Lord with New Songs:   Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.

2. They make men joyful:  Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.

3. Praise God with dance:  Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

4. Declare the mercies of God:  For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

5. Makes the church joyful:  Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.

6. High praises of God:  Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;

Judykay

7. God fights for you:  To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8. God fights for His children:  To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9. God executes judgement for His people:  To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord

Joe Praise

Psalms 150:

1. They praise God in His Sanctuary: 50 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

2. They praise His mighty works:  Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

3. Worship:  Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.

Moses

4. They praise God with Instruments:  Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.

5. High praise:  Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.

6. Let every child of God praise Him:  Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

PRAY FOR THEM:

My prayer for them is that, as the bible says, they shall "Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation" Isa 12:3

Prayer for them that they will always be filled with the joy of the Lord, and wait on the Lord continually., so they will praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

Pray for them to declare the wonders of the Lord, for the Lord has done excellent things: this is known in all the earth.

Brethren, pray for these Ministers of God that their star will shine and shine and shine in the Lord. Remember them in your closets when you pray that the glory of the Lord will not leave them, and the devil will not deceive or cheat on them

Pray that no evil will happen to them.  As they go and come, performing, praising and worshipping the Lord, they will go with the presence of the Lords with them. Cancel every plan of the enemy over their lives, No accident, no tragedy and no untimely death, in Jesus name.

CONCLUSION

Friends, the King (JESUS CHRIST) is coming.  The question is "Where will you spent eternity - in heaven or hell". This is the time to work out your salvation...Now is the acceptable time.  

If you have not yet received Jesus as Lord and Saviour of your life, say this short prayer:

Raise your right hand up unto the Lord and say: “Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before you now. I confess that I am a sinner. Lord, forgive me and cleanse me with your blood. Lord Jesus, come into my life, take control of my life, in Jesus name.”
