AMEND YOUR WAYS
Introduction
Believers are called to be different from among the sons of men. The difference I am talking about is within and without. Within talks about the inner beauty of the spirit man, while without is concerned with the believer's conduct, speech and sometimes appearance. The man should look like a man and not otherwise. Likewise the woman.
God commanded us to be different and holy unto Him. So, our dressing each time should glorify the Lord, and minister to others that godly appearance is golden. The scripture says: “Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.
For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.” (1 John 2:15-17)
IT'S TIME TO AMEND
Whether we rich or poor, young or old, the time to change is now. The world is a temporary place, and no matter how much life anyone is enjoying, the bible says it is appointed unto a man to die but once, after which there will be judgement.
I am sure you the reader knows that it is not likely that anyone will appear on the judgement seat of Christ and begin to point to his/her spouse as the reason why they did not prepare for eternity. You cannot say its that difficult son of yours, or the job and your boss.
In order to help you prepare for the coming of the Lord, consider these suggested actions and try them and see the difference you will notice.
are playing a game, driving a car, or baking a cake, there are certain rules that must be followed for our safety as well as our success.
Read your Bible daily - Make it a point of duty to study and meditate on your scriptures daily. Diligently obey the words and practice them. The word is called the truth, it sets a person free from bondages. Hide the Word of God in your heart, because it comforts, guides, corrects, encourages you.
Learn the secret of prayer. Prayer is communicating. Every prayer that you pray will be answered. Sometimes that answer may be “Yes” and sometimes “No,” and sometimes it is “Wait,” but nevertheless it will be answered. Check out my short video on how to pray effectively coming shortly.
Rely on the Holy Spirit. We know that the Holy Spirit prays for us (Romans 8), and what a comfort that should be to the weakest of us. Stand aside and let Him take over all the choices and decisions of your life.
Love everyone, including your enemies and those that use you. The easiest way to love your enemy is to decide before hand that there is no offence you will not forgive. This should include betrayals, with its emotional truama, please forgive.
Witness Christ to others - Decide to share the gospel with people anywhere you find yourself. It's never easy of convenient, so be sure you are living right, so the people around you can see the light of Christ in you.
Keep your heart pure - Flee from every appearance of evil, whether it is in real life or through the internet. Explicit pictures pollute the eyes and the mind. The devil uses such pictures to tempt the person afterwards.
CONCLUSION:
Friends, Jesus is coming back soon. If you have not known the Lord up till now, your life is in danger of hell fire
You have to confess your sins to God in prayer and ask for His forgiveness, believe He has forgiven you. Then ask Jesus to come into your heart, and be your Lord and Saviour. Believe the Lord has also accepted your request and His Spirit is already inside your heart.
If you said that prayer from your heart, know for sure that you are BORN AGAIN, a new baby in the kingdom of God. You have also received the power to be the son or daughter of God. Congratulations, you're born again!
