LOVE ACTIONS THAT EXCITE GOD
Introduction
There are different expressions of love and love actions that excite the Almighty God. To love is to do good to someone without conditions and without expecting anything in return. Love is the nature of God that is eternal.
Agape love cannot fail, but every other thing will fail, whether it is prophecies, speaking in tongues they shall fail, knowledge shall also vanish away. Love is the greatest gift in the kingdom, greater than faith and hope.
Love is a big deal in the kingdom of God because God is love and everyone redeemed by the blood of the Lamb is saved to walk in love towards God and man. That is why the Holy Spirit is sent to every believer, to expose hidden sins and all unrighteousness in a person's life and guide the transformation of such life till changes of the new birth begin to emerge in him or her.
Though we are created in the image of God, Man did not inherit the Agape type of Love from birth because of the sin of Adam. We were conceived and born in iniquity with natural love, which is mostly conditional. If you love me, then I will reciprocate with my own love. This is so common that even in marriages, you have couples treating their spouses according to the measure of love they receive from them, this is not from God.
The God kind of love is unconditional to all men, not because we are good or evil, but because God of all the earth must be fair to all His creation. This is why the Sun shines for everyone to see and enjoy, the rain also, even the air we breadth.
People begin to understand and operate in divine love after salvation, after regeneration of their spirit. Without a new heart, no man can love like God. Even after salvation, it takes a personal revelation of the kindness of God before people begin to commit themselves to love their neighbour, forgiving offences freely and sharing good things with their friends.
You will notice some brothers and sisters giving out useful information about job openings, contract and project opportunities, training and scholarship opportunities to friends and neighbours continually. Some people get to the ridiculous level of applying for a job for their friends without even telling them because of love.
Beloved, only people who have mortified their 'Flesh' and who are free from greed, selfishness and envy that can show godly love to others.
On the contrary, evil comes naturally to man, but to do good, he will have to learn it. Nobody needs to teach a baby how to do evil. She bites her mother's breast if she smacks her, and a small boy can deliberately pour away the food of his sister if he is angry with her.
The Blessings of God
It is important to make some slight definition between the love of God and His blessings. The love of God is unconditional and it apply to everybody, but the blessings of God are conditional.
People who walk in love are blessed and when we look at the Beatitudes, we discover that blessing is a reward for godly conducts. In Matt 5:2-11, Jesus taught the people saying:
1. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
2.Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
3.Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
4.Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
5.Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
6.Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
7.Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
8.Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
9.Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Some of the blessings are not specified like the blessing of those that mourn, for they shall be comforted. God will comfort them according to what they individually need to overcome grief. God knows how to comfort and restore us. He knows what is good and best for us at each time in our lives.

Divine Love begins after Regeneration

The depth of Love
Love is an action word. Love is demonstrated and for you to even know how to love, you have to apply yourself to it. You have to start loving people in every little and big ways you can, then grow in the grace also and become better.
The love of God is the highest expression of love, and Jesus Christ is the embodiment of God's love for us. That a righteous man will give his life for the life of sinners is a great sacrifice indeed. God loves without condition and no one can say that God has not been good to him or her.

God is love, He expressed His love for the world by giving His only Son, Jesus Christ to die for the sins of the world. John 3:16. God has therefore established His kingdom on love, which cannot be hidden. Love is the identity of believers in Christ.
The Lord says 'By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples when you have love one towards another. In John 4:7, says Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God.
But, we see some love actions today that even the people displaying it do not understand why they are showing someone so much, love. There are wonderful shows of love, which are not from the heart but done with an ulterior motive, to deceive the heart of the person receiving it. This is why it is impossible for anyone who has not been transformed by the blood of Jesus to love and do good to people without expecting something back in return.
To be in a position to show love is a wonderful privilege many people do not understand. As the protest is raging in the US over the death of Floyd, I watch a video clip where Police officers pushed a man backwards that he fell down, and hit his head on the concrete road and started bleeding, yet the Officers walked away from the man. If there is love in the heart, the officers will be sorry and take the man to the hospital for treatment, seeing he only came to ask them a question.
Characteristics of Love
The word of God in 1 Cor 13, explained the characteristics of love and the necessity of walking in love, even as we operate in the gifts of the Spirit. The scripture emphasized the importance of doing everything in love. The Pastor and members teaching and prophesying without love are counted as nothing. 1 Cor 13:1-13 gave us the make-up of love as follow:
1. Patience—love is not passive: no hurry; suffers long; bears, believes, hopes, and endures all things
2. Kindness—love in action: never acts rashly or insolently; not inconsistent, puffed up, or proud
3. Generosity—love in competition: not envious or jealous (1 Cor. 13:4)
4. Humility—love in hiding: no parade; no airs; works then retire (1 Cor. 13:4)
5. Courtesy—love in society: does not behave unseemly; always polite; at home with all classes; never rude or discourteous (1 Cor. 13:5)
6. Unselfishness—love in essence: never selfish, sour, or bitter; seek only good of others; does not retaliate or seek revenge (1 Cor. 13:5)
7. Good temper—love in disposition: never irritated; never resentful (1 Cor. 13:5)
8. Righteousness—love in conduct: hates sin; never glad when others go wrong; always gladdened by goodness to others; always slow to expose; always eager to believe the best; always hopeful, always enduring (1 Cor. 13:6-7)
9. Sincerity—love in the profession: never boastful and conceited; not a hypocrite; always honest; leaves no impression but what is strictly true; never self-assertive; does not blaze out in passionate anger, nor brood over wrongs; always just, joyful, and truthful; knows how to be silent; full of trust; always present.
Love by Faith
The importance of love is seen everywhere in the bible, as nothing can be done in the kingdom of God without Love. Life of love is one of the requirements for anyone that wants to enjoy eternity in heaven. Like every other thing, love starts from the heart.
Love expressed to brethren in the Church is one of the signs that a person is born again, and knows the Lord. There is a love by faith, which is what I call the perfecting love. Perfecting love is obtained by faith. It is love action downloaded into your spirit from heaven that flesh and blood cannot tell you.
Remember the two sons of Adam narrated in Genesis 4, Cain and Abel. One of them Abel knew how to please God, while the other person does not know how to please God. The one that knew how to please God was accepted and declared righteous, while the other was rejected.
In Genesis 4:1-2, the bible says that Abel was a keeper of sheep while Cain was a tiller of the ground and in the process of time, both of them brought sacrifices unto the Lord. Cain brought of the fruit of the ground, a sacrifice unto the Lord. His brother Abel also brought the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering. But unto Cain and his offering, He had not respect and Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. Why?
In Hebrew 11:4, the bible says "By faith, Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it, he being dead yet speaketh". By revelation, Abel knew how to give God an acceptable sacrifice, described as more excellent than the sacrifice of his brother Cain, and by the same one sacrifice, obtained a witness from the Lord that he was righteous.
Perfecting Love
Love can transform the worst person into a better person. When you experience the love of God from a person, you are not likely going to forget the experience in a long time. Some transforming love encounters linger for a lifetime. The presence of love drives away fear, loneliness and feelings of rejection.
Perfecting love is love action shown to your enemies and those people who despitefully use you. It is love shown to difficult and unloveable people. People you went-out-of your way to favour, who turns again and seek to destroy you.
Perfecting love is a love action that a carnal man cannot do. For instance, God gives you the head of your enemy who took away all you have in life, but you refuse to kill the person. Instead, you forgive him.
I will give two illustrations of perfecting love as shared by the Lord Jesus Christ in Mathew 5:44,48 says: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
The Lord is saying that if love your enemies, bless those that curse you and pray for those that despitefully use you, such actions must be by revelation, the Lord helping you to understand why you should treat your neighbour as yourself.
The second one, In Mathew 19:21, Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
If you will be perfect, and love live God Almighty, you have to sell ALL your possessions and bestow to the poor, which itself is credited to your heavenly account and give you access to becoming a disciple of the Lord and earn you a place in heaven at last.
A true love experience has helped people overcome emotional challenges, traumas, psychological problems etc. Love is the standard of God for all His children and everyone that will inherit eternity in heaven must learn how to love others unconditionally.
Love works at all times and in all circumstances, but you cannot manifest Agape love without receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. If you have not received the Lord, do it now.
Say this simple prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. I repent of my sins. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and was raised up for my justification. Therefore, I ask Lord Jesus to come into my heart and reign as my Lord and Saviour and to give me the grace to serve Him faithfully.
Thank You for answered prayer, I receive Jesus into my heart, I am born again!
