10 SPIRITUAL LAWS FOR KINGDOM SUCCESS

SPIRITUAL PRINCIPLES FOR GODLY LIVING

Introduction

Becoming a Christian is the most important steps you have taken in life.  Reconciling with God to become His son or daughter cannot be compared with anything else.  God created everyone, but when you receive Jesus as Lord and Saviour, you receive a new Spirit, the Holy Ghost.

He is the Spirit of the Living God that is able to transform your heart, attitude and ways of life.  The purpose is to make you conform to the image of Christ, your Saviour.  That is why a new birth is important to a believer.  Without the new birth, there can be no change of attitude from evil to good.

When you have received the Lord, you need to know the God you are serving, His Son, Jesus Christ, His Spirit and how the Spirit of God works.  You need to know some of the Spiritual laws that will make life easy for you as a Believer. That is the purpose of this message, I have gathered some spiritual laws that will help you know God better and understand the Kingdon of God deeper.

You are about to experience peace in the way you have not known it before, especially if you study the word of God and obey the instructions in the Word.  You will find greater peace and joy if you establish a personal relationship with the Jesus Christ by studying His words, leaning on Him and believing His promises, praying with His name daily and sharing your personal life with Him daily.

When you do this, He will take over your battles in life and give your life a new meaning, I pray that you will do so in Jesus name.

The Importance of Spiritual Laws

One of the ways to look at spiritual laws is that peoples opinion cannot overrule physical or spiritual laws. They are settled in heaven and Unchanging.  People may have a lot of reasons for disregarding God’s law, but none of those reasons mitigates the damage that comes from ignoring it.

The spiritual world isn’t as tangible as the physical world—it can’t be touched, seen or heard—but the consequences that come from ignoring spiritual laws can be even more painful than the consequences of ignoring physical laws.

Spiritual Laws of God are constant and unchanging. They do what they do all day, every day without exceptions. If a believer fails to understand and apply them, it is clear that Believer is still an outsider to the Kingdom.  Let's now look at some of the spiritual principles that can help your understanding of God and the Kingdom of God.  They include:

1.  Salvation - Receiving Christ Through Faith
“By grace, you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast.”  When we receive Christ, We Experience a New Birth.  He stands at the door of our heart knocking and saying: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in, to him.”

Receiving Christ is more than confession, It involves withdrawing from the ways of the world.  We should no longer be a friend to the world and follow after the things of this world.  We must separate ourselves from the world and worldly lusts, walk by faith and not by sight, evangelize and service the Lord.

2. Feeding on the Word

The word of God is God himself and when you study His word, you should realize that it is God speaking to you and those words are uttered for your blessing.  If you really want to grow in the spirit, The Bible says, "You must crave pure spiritual milk, the Word of God,  so that you can grow into the fullness of your salvation" (1 Peter 2:2).

So you have to feed on His word every day.  His word is spirit and life and as you study and meditate on it, His spirit enters into your life.  As you study and obey it also, your transformation and change of heart is taking place.

You should also memorize His word because a test will surely come for every Christian one day, and your reaction and attitude will be moderated by the word of God you know.  That was why Job survived his affliction.  In Job 23":12, Job said, " I have not departed from his commands but have treasured his word in my heart". The more you eat, the quicker you will grow, and the less bruising you will have.

3. Assurance - He cannot leave or forsake you

Once you are born again, you receive the power to be called the son or daughter of God and God cannot forget His own.  God will never leave you nor forsake you. He has brought you this far, and He will complete the wonderful work He has begun in you. God knows your every thought, your every care, and your deepest concerns.

God loves you and has wonderful plans for your life, even before you were born.  But, you must surrender your heart to Christ and seek to discover God's purpose for your life.  If you don't make the search, it may never be revealed to you, neither will it be clear to you what you should be doing.

Jesus Christ speaking says: “I came that you might have life, and might have it abundantly”.  But, why are people not enjoying the abundant life Christ came to give us?  The answer is Sin.  The bible says All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Sin has separated us from God and that is why the life of abundance which Christ promised is far for many people.

4. Jesus - The only way to God, Deliverance and life:
You need to know that Jesus is the only way to God.  He is God’s only provision for our sin. Through Him, we can know and experience God’s love and plan for our life.  He came for that purpose and died and rose again for our justification.  “Christ died for our sins…He was buried…He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures.

5. Faith - Faith is a spiritual law at the heart of all others.  Without faith, no one can please God.  Without faith, you cannot receive salvation or receive miracles from God.  You will not understand the scriptures and you will be laughing at God's promises and laws without faith.  Our faith in God affects every aspect of our life, including your bank account.

The bible said three times that the just shall live by faith, so without faith, the just man will be stranded.  Without faith, fear will take over, and holiness will be hard in the atmosphere of fear.

6. You reap what you sow
The measure you use for others will be used for you again.  Apostle Paul says:

“Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap” (Gal.6:7).

In Job 4:8 -  “Those who plough iniquity and sow trouble reap the same” (Job 4:8). Through Hosea, In Hosea 10:12-13 - God told Israel, “Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the LORD, till He comes and rains righteousness on you. You have ploughed wickedness; you have reaped iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies”

7.  What we sow takes time to grow

When we pray, sometimes the answers do not come immediately.  That does not mean that God did not hear us or that He will not answer us, so we need patience, as no man can command God or push Him into action by our words.  Our duty is to believe Him and trust He has already answered us, and we will receive the answers we deserve.

No one plants Mango or an apple seed expecting it to produce fruit the next day. That process takes years.  But it happens. Eventually, that seed produces fruit. And so do our seeds.

As it is for prayer, so it is for the evil that men do. King Solomon once bemoaned that “because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil” (Ecclesiastes 8:11).  In other words, a lot of bad people do a lot of bad things, and instead of being incinerated by a divinely aimed bolt of lightning, these people seem to prosper.

8. Sin Kills

The bible says the soul that sinneth shall die.  Death is the punishment for sin, but Christ is God's mercy and remedy for our evil ways. Sin separates us from God and His blessings, sin makes us unfit for His blessings as God's eye cannot behold iniquity.

When Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, they were separated from God, and their eyes opened to know evil.  What followed was a curse and sending away from abundance life into a barren desert land for them to fend for themselves.  It is still the same till today, sin separates us from God's blessings.

God hates sin perfectly and warns even the righteous through Ezekiel that if a wicked man,  “turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right”, he shall live and his bad deeds will not be remembered.  Also, if a righteous man who “turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and does according to all the abominations that the wicked man does”, such a man will die and his good deeds will not be remembered.

9. Pray Aways
God commanded us to pray always, without season and  “not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God” according to  Philippians 4:6.

Prayer is the cure for our needs, whether it is husband or wife, money or employment.  The Lord has promised that if we ask, we will receive, if we seek, we will find, and whenever we knock the door shall be opened to us.  Remember that the way to knock is to add fasting to your prayer.  But if anyone refuses to pray, he will not receive anything from God.

10. Holiness is a command

A holy lifestyle is not negotiable for a born again Christian.  It is a command that once you embrace, you have in your hands the Key to open a lot of doors in life.  Jesus is our Master key and whosoever is called by His name should live holy.

When you embrace holiness and live by the Word, separating from worldliness, and crucifying your flesh, the mercy and favour of God will start speaking for you.  You can be sure of God's presence with you always as a beloved and what is considered hard is made easy for you...All by the Spirit of God, working in you.

Conclusion

Spiritual principles are eternal.  One thing is to know them another thing is to observe and do them for your own good.  They will surely reduce the pain you fill suffer every day as a child of God.

Say this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my heart and receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.”
