One of Nigeria's illustrious gospel music singers Nathaniel Bassey made a shocking revelation of how the devil came to steal his soul with money during the early days of his gospel ministry.  

According to the celebrated Nigerian Gospel singer and worship leader Nathaniel Bassey made this alarming revelation about his early days in his music career.

Nathaniel Bassey took to his Facebook page to recount how he had to deal with the temptation of doing the unthinkable. He revealed that some persons offered him a huge sum of money to remove Jesus’s name out of his songs.

According to the ‘Imela’ hitmaker, the juicy deal was offered to him in 2008 by some foreigners and if he had sealed the deal with them, he would have turned into a billionaire overnight.

Nathaniel Bassey stated that he would rather go hungry than have all the riches in the world without Jesus in his songs.

Nathaniel Bassey wrote on social media :

This God has kept me all these years. Even when I knew very little of Him. And still learning of Him.

I remember being offered a contract to take Jesus out of a song in 2008, It was to be a foreign deal. But He gave me the strength to turn it down. Saying I’d rather go hungry than take HIM out.

He is my LIFE. And by His Grace, I make a vow to serve non-other, blow for non-other, no matter the amount of money involved, until that final day, In Jesus’ name.”

Caution:

If any man will be great at anything, he would be tested.  The test of money is one that is difficult for many people to overcome.  We thank God for giving him the strength to resist and overcome the trial.

There is nothing the devil can do about JESUS CHRIST.  But for young people who are called by God to serve in the vineyard, they should be mindful of the antics of the devil.

If one imagine that many of the Popstars singing worldly songs today were once choir singers in their youth, then you know the devil is not resting on this matter.  He uses money to lure them out of the Church, before exchanging their virtue and Soul.

I pray for every choir and worship singers, that the devil will not steal your soul in Jesus Christ name.
