PRAYERS...THAT BREAK THE YOKE OF BARRENNESS

 

PRAYERS FOR CHILDREN

Introduction

Prayer is more than a wish, it is the voice of petition directed to God. The prayer of a barren woman rings out to God, especially when such a petition is accompanied with a vow, the Lord has respect unto it.  

Delay in childbearing is one of the toughest test children of God pass through, Pastors and Prophets inclusive.  It is always tough because of societal expectation, parents and siblings and other relations. 

If a lady gets married and there is no conception within the first three years, the pressure will start building and some people will be speaking misguided words, faithless and negative sentiments.  That is the time to declare a fast and cry to God.

Prayer should be a way of life for Christians, praying effectively is a skill and work of grace.  Effective prayer is important to receiving from God and believers should master praying.  Prayer is the only way to God and it is important to cut-off every distractions when praying.   

When you have a serious need, like barrenness in marriage, you should learn how to pray effectively, as praying amiss will prolong the person's wilderness journey.  

The Barrenness problem

Newly married couples who live together for up to three years without a child  should seek proper medical examination to know if there is anything medically wrong with any of them.  The good news is that modern medicine has advanced to address most of the causes of barrenness.  Couples who find themselves in this problem, should subject themselves to proper medical examination and treatment before declaring prayer.

If you are married and waiting on the Lord for children in your marriage, I want you to know for sure that there shall be none barren in the kingdom, so do not lose hope, keep on asking, knocking, believing. Do not just hope for things to happen, take some steps of faith and pray the scriptures including those included in this post, and believe in your heart.

However, if after due medical examination they are declared to be medically fit and sound, then they should declare a fast, and continue to fast and pray till their heart desire is met.  It is a prayer you begin with thanksgiving.  Start by thanking Him for His love, a love so great He sent His son into the world to die for you,. Praise Him for His kindness and glory, worship Him and then start presenting your petition.  

Open your heart to the Lord and tell Him exactly how you feel about the problem and ask for divine intervention.  If you have a prayer list, be focused and yet sensitive in the spirit, to hear what the Lord is saying about your matter and additional prayer points the Lord may want you to pray.

Biblical References:

1. Psalm 113:9 -  He makes the barren woman abide in the house as a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD!

2. Genesis 25:21 - Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was barren; and the LORD answered him and Rebekah his wife conceived.

3. Isaiah 54:1 -  "Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child; Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed; For the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous Than the sons of the married woman," says the LORD.

4. Genesis 29:31 -  Now the LORD saw that Leah was unloved, and He opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.

5. Genesis 30:22 -  Then God remembered Rachel, and God gave heed to her and opened her womb.

6. Luke 1:37 - "For nothing will be impossible with God."

7. Deuteronomy 7:14  - "You shall be blessed above all peoples; there will be no male or female barren among you or among your cattle.

8. Psalm 128:3 -  Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine Within your house, Your children like olive plants Around your table.

9. Hebrews 11:11 - By faith, even Sarah herself received the ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.

10. Exodus 23:25-26 - "But you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water, and I will remove sickness from your midst. "There shall be no one miscarrying or barren in your land; I will fulfil the number of your days.

11. Luke 1:13 - But the angel said to him, "Do not be afraid, Zacharias, for your petition has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you will give him the name John.

PRAYER POINTS

1. Start by giving Him thanks for His ability to do all things.  Thank Him for answered prayers concerning the fruit of the womb.

2. Heavenly Father, remember your Word that says "Be fruitful and multiply' and open my womb to conceive and bring forth a child and children in Jesus name.

3. O' Lord, as You opened the womb of Sarah after so many years, open my own womb by your mercy in Jesus Christ name.

4. O' Lord, my eye is set on Thee and my hope in your unchanging love.  Open my womb according to Your word that none shall be barren among your children.

5. O' Lord, remember me and my husband this month and do for us as You did to Hannah, Rachel and Elizabeth  I believe that You are and will do the same today. I have the faith that You will keep Your promises to Your children.

6. Every ancestral barrenness operating in my life, by the blood of Jesus I exempt myself in Jesus name

7. By the blood of Jesus, I flush out every strange deposit projected into my body by the power of the marine kingdom.

8. Any power from the marine kingdom visiting me in the dream as spirit husband to pollute my temple, be wasted by fire of God in Jesus name.

9. Every spirit of barrenness following me to hinder conception, catch fire and be roasted in Jesus name.

10. Every evil word spoken about my childbearing by any power, living or dead, be cancelled by the blood of Jesus.

11. Any yearly sacrifice offered to satan to hinder my conception, be cancelled by the blood of Jesus Christ.

12.  Every vow made in the coven against my conception, backfire in Jesus name.

13. Any power from the marine kingdom, witchcraft agent that will visit me in the dream to make an evil decree, be wasted by fire in Jesus name.

14. Any alter, sacrifice erected to hinder my conception, catch fire in Jesus name.

15. In the name of Jesus Christ,  receive the grace and power to conceive and bring forth my first child.

Appeal:

Trust the Lord for your miracle baby, denounce every negative voice in the name of Jesus Christ.  Stand on the Word and the God you have prayed to, His word cannot fall to the ground.  He will not ignore the prayer of faith you are offering today.

I encourage you to believe it is already done.  Believe with me also, that the end of these season of prayers will be a joy for you and your family in Jesus name. Amen.

CONCLUSION

Friends,  Jesus is coming back soon.  If you have not known Him, I plead with you to surrender your heart and troubles to Him now.  It is a prayer that should come from your heart. 

You have to confess your sins to God in prayer and ask for His forgiveness, believe He has forgiven you.  Then ask Jesus to come into your heart, and be your Lord and Saviour.  Believe the Lord has also accepted your request and His Spirit is already inside your heart.

If you said that prayer from your heart, know for sure that you are BORN AGAIN, a new baby in Christ.  You have also received the gift of the Holy Spirit and the power to be the son or daughter of God.
