COMMANDING YOUR MORNING
Introduction
Every day is loaded with opportunities, blessings, benefits and rewards from the Almighty God, as well as potential danger from the devil. This is why every believer is asked to pray and take authority over the day and ask the forces of the day to favour you, and never to cooperate with your enemy.
The other aspect of the day that is decided early in the morning is the evil ordained for the day. We know from the spiritual development of issues that everything that happens in the day has already been recorded in the realm of the spirit before it manifests before the public.
The believer enters in the realm of the spirit through prayers and declares that the evil planned for the day will not get to him and his family, and for Ministers of the gospel, for the members of his people (Congregation). That prayer, when done in faith, prevents the accidents, tragedy, accidents and any other evil planned by the devil from getting to you and your people. None of your family members shall be destroyed by the devil in Jesus name.
This message is aimed at empowering believers to know how to arrest the destruction planned for the day. There is no day without its own trouble, so it is important to know which direction to turn to and issue 'holy decree' that dissolves works of darkness and keep the devil away from you. Many people do not know that the spoken word is the most powerful weapon against the devil, and every child of God has the right to use this weapon to stop works of darkness around them.
In Jeremiah 23:29, the Lord says "Is not My Word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces" So a child of God should not be ignorant of the things of the spirit and what to do in certain situations. Fears comes when a Believer does not know how to claim his or her rights in prayer.
Evil assigned for the day
From the scriptures, there are snares of the fowler, there are the arrows that flieth by the day and the destruction that wasteth at noonday according to Psalms 91:5-6. These are the powers that program evil into the day, using the Sun. Their target is to destroy people's light, star and glory. The target of the enemy is always to steal, kill and destroy. But, that's not the portion of a child of God because of the divine immunity we enjoy from the Lord.
The immunity we have from the Lord is enforced through prayer. Commanding the morning or day prayers are in two categories. You have the prayers to destroy the evil planned for the day and exempt your family, then you have the prophetic declaration prayers to direct favour and destiny helpers to you. You are guided by the Holy Ghost on what to pray and how to pray those prayers.
Destruction at Noonday
These are the evil that befalls people in the day time. There are unseen arrows that fly in the day. There are the powers of infirmity and death. They are the powers of failure, misfortune, accident and defeat. These are the powers behind success and failure in business. These are powers that make people fail in the midst of plenty. I used to wonder how there are many poor traders in a prosperous market, but today, I know why such things are seen everywhere Business is warfare, the spiritually strong direct traffic and favour to themselves, while the spiritually ignorant become a spectator in the market place.
Depending on where you work or do business, there are contending powers contending for different things. A visit to serious markets like Auto parts markets, you can practically see the manifestation of powers of influence and demonic traffic at work. You can see one shop at the end of a market street, getting 70% of the traffic on that market street. People will be trooping to one shop, while other shops may not have anyone asking what they are selling.
A person of discernment can tell some of the shop owners have commanded the morning and the day to help them and it is working. The demonic ones among them use their demonic powers to direct traffic to their shops in the market. A Christian in business must understand how to command the morning, otherwise that Christian will hardly experience success.
Danger Signs - Watch out for
God wants us to enjoy life, while we are on earth; but He also wants us to be sensitive to the things of the spirit. Apart from keeping away from sin, we should beware of unbelief. You should believe in God and in the Supernatural, which only God performs. He is a God of the Supernatural, so you have to believe that with Him, nothing is impossible, and that is God for you.
The Lord does not want us to treat the things of the spirit with lethargy. Let no child of God become a profane, someone like Esaw, who had no respect for his birthright and the things of the Spirit. Spiritual lethargy is laziness towards the study of the word and prayer. Lack of excitement for the things of God. Spiritual lethargy leads to backsliding and/or rebellion.
Another thing the Lord hates with passion is idolatry. Putting anything before or ahead of God. Whether it is your husband or wife, money or your business, the Lord says NO to idolatry. The moment you begin to put anything in the place of God, His protection departs from that person. So nothing takes the place of God in our lives. Believers should beware of pride, especially when the Lord has blessed them. With pride and haughtiness, the protection of the Lord departs from such a person as well, for God hates the proud and looks at them afar off.
How to deal with the powers
How to deal with these forces of the day is to take cover under the umbrella of the Lord. You have to dwell in the secret place of the Most High God, so you can abide under His covering. You may ask "how do I dwell in the secret place of the Almighty? The answer is simple. The secret place of the Lord is the place of Word, prayer and power. You will have to trust in the Lord wholly, pray with faith and exercise authority over the works of darkness. The following steps will get you dwelling in the secret place of the Lord:
1. Study the Word of the Lord and meditate on it daily. The Word of God is spirit and life. As you study and meditate, fresh energy enter your spirit, the life of Christ enters your spirit, that no devil can challenge. No sickness can resist the Word of God in your spirit and in your mouth.
2. Pray without ceasing - Math 26:41, pray with faith in your heart and do the walk of faith after prayers.
3. Put all your trust in God - Your trust is not in your prayer or ability to pray. Your trust is in the Lord and He is your dwelling place. This is what the scriptures are saying in Psalms 91:9-13 that: "Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways" For putting your trust in the Lord, The Lord says, you shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet".
4. Love the Lord with all your heart - This is the first duty of man, to love the Lord. The bible says in Psalms 91:14-16: "Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation".
5. Rely on the Holy Spirit - Make the Holy Ghost your friend by running away from sin and obey the Word of God. The Spirit of God is holy, so you should desire and walk every day without sin, by depending on the Holy Spirit, confessing your wrongdoings and forsaking them. Another attitude that helps righteous living is patience. Take one step at a time, rebuke worry, anxiety and fear.
6. Holy Living - Holiness in the aspect of being set aside for God. This means to live by the Word, teach the Word and do the work of soul-winning and any other thing in the house of God, your talent and resources allow you to do. Holiness is the Ticket to confront the darkness and win, and every spiritual battle should be as directed by the Holy Spirit.
Prayer
1. I take authority over the day, and over the elements of the day in Jesus name.
2. By the authority in the name of Jesus Christ, I revoke every evil decree of untimely death, accident, tragedy and failure programmed into this day, and I exempt myself and my family from them.
3. Any evil programmed into the day against my family, be cancelled by the blood of Jesus Christ.
4. Every failure programmed into the day against my family, be cancelled by the blood of Jesus Christ.
5. By the blood of Jesus Christ, I receive my portion of the favour and blessings programmed into the day in Jesus Christ name.
FIRE...
