God of my father in the Lord - Who is he?
- Many are saying the God of my Pastor is my God in ignorance
- Satan is not afraid of your preaching the word, he is afraid of your submitting to the Lordship of Christ.
- With Satan, you can even preach righteousness, as long as you submit to him and he is the source of your power and miracles, he is okay.
- We are in the End-time and many fake prophets are already in operation
- Believers should discern the spirit at work in the life of a man and ministry. - Mathew 7:21-23
Introduction:
Many believers in Africa are familiar with their Prophets saying 'my God, the God of this commission' etc. Many people even say, the God of my Pastor did the miracle for me...
The Lord laid this message in my heart to share it because, we are in the end-times and the bible calls it a perilous times. A time when the forces of darkness will come-out to deceive, even Satan will disguise as light to deceive many. The bible talks about deceitful spirit and teachings of demons (1 Tim 4:1) and people need to be careful. That time is here with us, and you can identify it with certain signs:
1. Some Pastors, the interested has shifted to prophesy instead of the Word.
2. The emphasis has also shifted from faith to proof - they call it evidence.
3. Deliverance has moved from casting the devil away to pushing the person until he/she falls to the ground.
4. Many times, they perform uncommon deliverance, but the question is by what power are they prophesying and performing these deliverance?
The counsel remains the advice of our Lord Jesus Christ, who says we should test the spirit, by which these deliverance are being performed. Before you begin to pray, saying 'God of my father-in-the-Lord, God of Pastor Jack and John come and help me.
My question to you is: "Do you know the God or god, your pastor is serving"?,
Have you tested his spirit and known the spirit at work in his life, or you believe he is a man of God because of the miracles and deliverance, you see every Sunday? Does that mean that, this end-time, everyone that calls himself Pastor or Prophet, and does miracles is of God? Child of God, before you start calling the God of any Pastor, inquire from the Almighty God.
Redemption
Jesus died to bring you out of the kingdom of darkness into the marvelous light of the gospel of Christ, unto eternal. But if you say you are serving God under a demonic Pastor, fake Pastor, you are under the spiritual authority of an agent of Satan, your salvation is in vain. It will be sad to be told that "I know you not, you workers of iniquity", so don't be deceived by any miracles you see, test the spirit behind the miracle and make sure your Pastor is a man of God indeed.
The days are evil and the devil is desperate to deceive many more people. The Lord says many of you are calling on the god whom you do not know, so this message is inspired by God to warm those concerned.

We are living in a difficult times and many believers has fallen in love with prophesy so much that they can pay any amount to have a one-on-one discussion with a 'Prophet', without minding where the power behind the prophesy is coming from.
The truth remains that many of today's prophesy is not coming from God. When it comes from God, no special effort is required for things to happen, you don't need to pay so much money to see the prophet. I have had the priviledge of meeting some fathers of faith in Nigeria, I mean the leading lights and there was no consultation fee needed for me to see or meet with them.
I feel compelled to tell children of God that you cannot be under the covering of a man anointed by the devil and hope to enter heaven. This is a great delusion. All those people who love their Pastor or Prophets so much that instead of calling Jesus Christ, our Lord, Saviour and healer, they are calling on the god of their pastor...should be very careful.
A man can prophesy and perform miracles while preaching the word of God, but the power with which he is prophesying is from darkness, so he gives you accurate prophesy and you are seduced to think he is a man of God, meanwhile he is not of God at all.
I know that the poor and oppressed people run to prophets seeking deliverance and prosperity, but Christianity is more than that.

God's works must of necessity flow from His throne. God's throne is established upon authority as all things has been created by the authority of God. This is why Heb1:3b says that God upholds all things by His word, which is of His authority. The bible did not say that God upholds all things by His power. God's authority represents God Himself, while God's power represents God's works.

Satan is not afraid of your preaching -
A man can be preaching the word of God with accuracy and charisma, while the power behind his miracles is from Satan. A man can be teaching faith and preaching faith with human skill, but in actual fact, he is not even born again.

In the whole universe, only God is authority and so, sin against the authority of God is a sin against God Himself. All other authority is appointed by God. Rebellion against God's authority is a serious sin that is hard to forgive...that was the sin of Satan, which caused his down fall.
So, in the service to God, God must be our source. Whether we preach, teach or conduct deliverance, He must be the source of all we do. In any case the preacher is not the healer, he is just the vessel through which the power of God flow to meet the people in need of healing and deliverance through spoken word of prophesy, or faith.
Many people marvel at some testimony or miracle and conclude that God must be in that place, but what if God is not there? This is why it is possible for us to think we are serving God, when in actual fact it is the devil we are serving.
There is the possibility that a Prophet can stand in principle on Satan's side, while standing on Christ side in doctrine and situations like that makes the devil happy. All he wants is for the Prophet to preach his righteousness or faith, but when it comes to healing and deliverance, the demonstration of power, let him invite the devil to do that. The same demons we are binding and casting out.
Brethren, don't be deceived, principalities and powers of darkness, demons, even witches and wizards see vision and can prophesy into the future, yet they are not of God.
Power of Confession -
When you say, The God of a man of God is your God, make sure he is serving the Living God, otherwise you are submitting yourself to a strange god. No matter the miracle happening in his church, if God is not there, He is not there.
This error means that if the Pastor/prophet is secretly serving Satan without you knowing, then you are saying ignorantly saying that Satan and his demons are your god...God forbid.
It is not a bad idea all together to say the God of your father in the Lord, when you know such a Pastor is from God, but for the pastor or Prophet to tell you to pray...saying god of pastor ABC, please test every spirit. When you say, The God of a man of God is your God, make sure he is serving the Living God, otherwise you are submitting yourself to a strange god. No matter the miracle happening in his church, if God is not there, He is not there.

He further explained that on that day, they will say to Him, did we not perform miracles in your name, did we not cast out demons in your name and many mighty miracles...all in your name. Then the Lord will answer and say to them I know you not, you workers of iniquity - Mathew 7:21-23.

There are many workers of iniquity performing miracles all over the place and the devil is using miracles, signs and wonder to deceive people inside the church of God.
Revelation
I was meditating on this matter recently when the Lord impressed it in my heart that many believers are saying the God that man of God is their God ignorantly. They are making a serious confession, without knowing who the god of the said man of God is. A Pastor can be preaching the word of God and prophesying and performing miracles with the power of the devil.

Conclusion - May you never be deceived or seduced by oratory, prophesy, signs and wonders to annul your salvation through your confession.
