Simple ways to win a Woman to Christ!

Introduction

Dear Evangelists, soul winning is easier when done in love.  It is a fact that you can hardly win a soul you do not love. This message is primarily concerned with the preparation for evangelism and how to witness to a woman.

Women stand unique from men in many ways, and we are going to present the gospel and Christ to them using gender sensitive words and approaches that excite and motivate women into a relationship.

Prepare your Heart

1. Assurance of Salvation: It is easy for anyone to give out tracts and invite someone to church, but if you are determined to win a soul for Christ, you must have the assurance of your own salvation.  

You can only give what you have, so if you are not sure that Christ is the Lord of your life, you should stop at sharing tracts.  It is easy to market a product you have used and know its benefits. It is the same thing in the Kingdom.  When you encounter Christ and the wonders of His power, fear, doubt and shyness will disappear when you are witnessing.

2. Have a passion for souls: Be ready to act like a baby - Love everybody, embrace everybody and come down to the level of everyone in order to win their hearts for Christ. Prepare for resistance and know how to handle it

3. Full of the Spirit: A soul winner is not going to witness by his human knowledge and strength, but by the help of the Spirit of God.  This is the reason for the boldness of evangelists.  You are only a vessel the Lord will use to witness to his children on the field.

4. Know the Word.  You should be grounded in some salvation scriptures and likely areas where people ask question, so that you can provide biblical answer to the questions of the converts. 

5. Pray: For the souls, you are going to witness to, and all unbelievers generally.

WINNING STRATEGY

1. Introduce the Gospel: 

The good news of Jesus Christ should be introduced to her in clear terms, without assuming she knows about it. Be natural and pleasant and as you exchange pleasantries and introduce the word, be quick to diagnose her state of mind and trust the Holy Spirit to speak to her heart.

Have confidence in the word of God, not your ability and present Christ, not stories. Your countenance should speak boldness. 

Women love to see evidence that Jesus has done the same for the preacher or is doing it right now in his life. There should be no disconnection here. Confidence is your connection, speak the word confidently, no stories in the field.

2. Tell her about the person of Jesus Christ:

Jesus as a person is different from the gospel of Jesus Christ.  The gospel of Jesus Christ talks about repenting from your sins and receiving Him as lord and Saviour of your life.  But the person of Jesus Christ talks about relationship with the Saviour, which is the ultimate purpose of the salvation message.

Lack of this distinction is the reason why many believers find it difficult to develop a relationship with Christ,  long after they have received Him as Lord.  This is not good for the spiritual growth of the new convert because it is the person of Christ that will meet their needs on a daily basis, while the gospel will lead them to heaven.

3. Mean What You Say 

“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.”  - Proverbs 19:9. Endeavor to be a doer of the word, so that your preaching and teaching will carry a spiritual weight that will enhance your chances of winning souls.  It means your speech will be in spirit and not letter.

4. Trust

Let her know the importance of “Trust the Lord with all her heart, and do not lean on her own understanding. In all her ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight her paths.”  Proverbs 3:5-6 

It is important for her to have a good foundation based on the Word. Faith is believing and trusting the Lord and His word. Believing the word of God in your heart is faith and absolute faith is TRUST, the only thing that pleases God. 

The message of faith and trust in God should be made clear to her. Whenever she have doubts or uncertainty, to trust God and ask Him to guide her through any tough choices she may face.       

5. Tell her the plans of God for her:

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” - Jeremiah 29:11 

Just as you are confident in God when making your decisions, let her learn to trust Him with the path your life will take. We don't hide anything from God, so she should not.  The plan of God for a woman is wonderful.  The will of God for a woman is that she fulfill her destiny on earth.  It is for her to be a daughter of Zion, that loves and reverences the Lord, and live a life that honors the Lord. In marriage, God desires that she submit to her husband and help the family succeed and fulfill the purpose of raising godly children.  No adultery, no worldliness, and No bad company.

In her career, the Lord is ready to assist her to succeed if she commits her career and daily life and experience unto the Lord.  God is able to make all favor abound towards her if she lives a righteous life, no compromises, and no short cuts.  The Lord loves the righteous, and every child of God living right knows our promotion will come from the Lord and through our diligent hard work.

6. Holiness starts from little things:

"Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are his delight.”  Proverbs 12:22 

Holiness is not negotiable for all that want to see the Lord. Righteousness exalts a nation/person and sin is a reproach. Every believer that loves the Lord must depart from evil.  Sin is the source of all sickness and disease and many untimely deaths, sin must be avoided by totally surrendering to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

God commanded us to be holy, for He is holy and in Hebrews, we are asked to follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no eyes shall see the Lord.

7. Talk to her about the following
1. How to trust the Lord and receive answers to her prayer
2. How to have a fatherly relationship with the Lord
3. Living a successful life as a believer - what is required
4. Loving the Lord and her fellow beings

Life of faith - There is a way to live as a Christian, which is living the life of faith.  A life of trusting in the Lord and standing on His words.  The life of faith is most profitable.  

A believer should learn how to rest in the Lord and trust Him with all your cares and believe He will answer your prayers on time.  

To be a successful Christian requires personal decision to repent of YOUR SINFUL and  seek God in spirit and in truth.  She will have to be prayerful, virtuous and committed lady, faithful to God and man.  She will need wisdom and understanding, self-discipline and positive lifestyle.

Her love and commitment towards God should be strong. If she can love God with all her heart, spirit, soul and body, then she can love her neighbours and be willing to forgive them easily.

CONCLUSION:

Friends, Jesus is coming soon.  If you have not received Him as Lord and Saviour, please do so NOW!

Confess your sins to God and ask for His forgiveness, believe He has forgiven you.  Then ask Jesus to come into your heart, and be your Lord and Saviour.  Believe the Lord has also accepted your request and His Spirit is already inside your heart.
