GOD IS WISE, YET HE PLANS EVERYTHING.........Learn to be like your Father!

GODLY WISDOM SERIES!
God is a Master Planner, An all knowing God
Nothing surprises Him!

Introduction

Our God is a God of wisdom. He is all wise, all knowing God.  He loves wisdom, operates in wisdom and love His sons and daughters who walk in wisdom. The importance of wisdom in the affairs of life cannot be ignored.

Wisdom saves and preserves life.  Wisdom also protects and maketh one rich.  I share with us here some of the ways God use wisdom to perform wonders.  No man can comprehend the wisdom of God because it is unsearchable, but we see the manifestation of this wisdom all around us.

Every move is planned

Every move of God is full of wisdom and power and we can learn to follow our Father's footsteps in that direction.  Nothing surprises God and no event catches Him unawares.  It is not because He is God, but because He makes provision for the unexpected.  God in Heaven, our heavenly Father considers all factors to a matter and always have an alternative plan, just in case the first plan fails.

He wanted to use the Jews to spread the gospel to the world, but they could not understand God's plan as they celebrated their peculiar choice and became proud to their neighbours.  He saw in their heart a conflict of interest that could destroy His plans.

God's plan was for them to win the world to back to Him, but they wanted to rule the world.  They had suffered so much oppression and seen battles that all they wanted was a King with supernatural powers of God to defeat their enemies and rule the world.

God reviews His plans sometimes
God saw their mindset and knew they were not prepared for His global evangelism, primarily aimed at winning all people back to God. God had to wait till Christ came on the scene, a well prepared "Vessel", who came in His name and did all things according to God's plan.

God used Him to recruit and prepare a special team for the global ministry of reconciliation of men to Him.  Jesus Christ thus started the preaching 'Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand' and raised great men as we know them today.

The unexpected happens and many people are caught unawares because they did not make any provisions and so they cannot handle it.  But we see God in Exodus 13:17 meditating on which way to take the people of Israel through when they left Egypt.

God uses the most efficient methods
God knew the way through Palestine was closer to the Promised land, but He did not take them through that way because He imagined that if the people should see War in Palestine, they would be frightened as God knows the people of Palestine would not allow them to pass. And God said "I will not lead them through the Palestine, though it was near, less peradventure the people repent when they see war"

What does this mean, God is evaluating the risk of different routes to the promised land.  He is the one leading the people, yet He is considering the danger on the road.  How often do we consider carefully the risk involved in our plans.  Whether the plan is to travel to the village of travel abroad.

I know alot of people consider the risk, but how many consider all the risk factors involved.  To consider a few risk is not good enough.  It is important to put the whole risks on the table and carefully consider all and the impact of each one to the project or journey before arriving at the final option.

Why did God have to meditate on the options, even though He is the one leading the people?  God knows that the people when they agree on anything with one voice is hard to break.  He says lets the people repent when they see war and return back to Egypt.

It means that if the people see war and decide to go back to Egypt, God would not have any choice than to take them back...and that would mean that God failed to take that particular group to the Promised land - God forbid.

This Teaching
This teaching is meant to challenge you to begin to plan your activities in advance and prepare for the future you want to see.  Whether it is in marriage or in business, the future you did not plan may never come.  You want to get married, okay, then begin to plan for marriage.  Seek divine knowledge about it, acquire earthly knowledge and skills, read books on the subject and get familiar with the subject matter before hand.

Learn to make plans and have your strategies in place.  Don't ever depend on luck or good fortune...NO. Have a plan and prepare in advance for the future you want to see.  Think of 5 to 10 years from now.  What can you do today to obtain the desire in 5years time. God plans and also reviews His plans to get to the expected end.

Men gathered themselves and decided to build the Tower of babel to reach heaven and see God.  God saw it and knew that with unity of purpose, they can achieve what they have set out to do, He came down to see for Himself, what men were doing and to break their ranks and cause the building to seize.

For this year, your next project, and may be for your future, take your time, follow God's example and plan your life and project better.  Make provision for the unexpected.  Consider all the possible risks in a matter before taking a final decision.  Your final choice should be the one that will enable you achieve your goal in the end.

Lets look at God's wisdom on some of His works:

God Is Infinitely Wise
First, God is infinitely wise. I don't qualify to write about God's wisdom, because no one knows it.  No man born of a woman knows or understands God's wisdom.  The bible says Jesus is the wisdom of God and in Proverbs 3:18, we  see that wisdom is a tree of life and happy are they that lay hold on her.

Both Jesus Christ and the Word cannot be understood by man, except the Father reveals Him to you.  But God's wisdom is made manifest in the wonders of His works around us. From the little to big things that the Almighty God created, we can see His wisdom. Take a look at the Ants, feeble and without strength, but they gather their food in summer.  God deposited unique wisdom into the ants that we can see and learn from.  The wisdom of preparation and precision, knowing what to do and doing it at the right time and that way, the ant does not go hungry.

But we are talking about God’s wisdom, not ours. God knows the end of any matter from the beginning.  He created man with a will to choose what he wants for himself, but notice what happened in the case two brothers Jacob and Esau.  Before they were formed into the womb, the Lord has seen their Spirit and known that Jacob will be more honourable that his brother, who would not take things of God serious.  God saw that Esau would profane the things of God and God decided to choose Jacob instead of Esau.

His wisdom so deep - Romans 11:33-36.

The depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God is unsearchable. ! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.

The wisdom of God is very deep! “O the depth of the . . . wisdom of God.” It is so deep that his judgments are unsearchable. It is so deep that his ways are inscrutable. It is so deep that no one has been, or ever could be, his counselor. In fact, the wisdom of God is so deep and so expansive that he does not and cannot increase in wisdom.

To increase in wisdom, something would have to go into God’s mind that has not already come out of God’s mind. But Romans 11:36 emphatically says that this does not happen: “From him and through him and to him are all things.” And if all things are from him, there is no wisdom in the universe that is not already his. Therefore, we conclude: God is infinite in wisdom. That is, his wisdom cannot be increased, not because he has limits, but because every conceivable increase is already his.

God’s Wisdom in Saving Sinners
In salvation, who would have believed that our Saviour and King, Jesus Christ would have to die before rising to perfect our redemption.  God's ways are simply unsearchable.  The Jews thought their King and Messiah had come that will destroy their oppressors and make them world leaders, but God thought otherwise. They did not know that the Messiah and His coming kingdom is not of this world, but eternal.

Imagine that the forerunner of Christ himself - John the Baptist, a Prophet and full of the Holy Ghost from the womb could not understand the plan of God initially.  His faith came under test when he was in Prison that he had to send his disciples to Jesus saying "Are you the Messiah, or are we to look elsewhere". The disciples of Jesus also thought He had come to restore Israel.  God is wonderful, no man can find Him out!

In conclusion, seek the help of the Almighty God in everything you do.  Plan the things you want to accomplish, look at the Ants, so feeble and weak, but they plan and gather their food in Summer. Make sure you have a plan B, alternative plan.  Ensure there is a provision for the unexpected which may occur without notice.  Let us be like our heavenly Father.  Remain blessed!
