Healing Apostle Shanon Webb......Enters Beauty Pagent, Lost! - For Record!

Shanon Webb is taking her healing hands to the beauty queen stage.

The leader of the Supernatural Church in Maitland is known for laying on hands and driving demons out of people.

But the beautiful apostle has now set her sights on another stage - that of Mrs South Africa, and she’s halfway there.

Shanon has just been named as one of the top 100 semi-finalists in the popular pageant, aimed at mothers and married women, aged 24 to 49, who make a difference in their communities.

She says: “I felt so overwhelmed by the opportunity as the selections for this year’s Mrs South Africa semi-finalists were amazing women from all walks of life. I’m grateful for this opportunity and I want to represent Cape Town well.”

Last October, Shanon invited the Daily Voice into her church where she demonstrated how God worked His miracles through her. She “healed” people with a single touch, including a man who has been walking on crutches since he was a child.

Shanon revealed that she’s had the gift of seeing visions and speaking to angels since the age of five.

The apostle, who grew up in Steenberg on the Cape Flats, used to work in the media industry, but gave up her job to follow her calling from God 13 years ago, when miracles mentioned in the Bible, “began manifesting in modern day life”.

Eben Allies, 46, of Delft, claimed he had an encounter with an angel after meeting Shanon.
He said he had been waiting seven years for a hip replacement. But Shanon touched him and said “walk with me”, and he did. Both Shanon and Eben stressed that it was God, and not Shanon that healed him. Next month, Shanon will be competing against 99 other finalists at Emperor’s Palace in Kempton Park for the final 25 and ultimately the crown.

Asked why she, as a spiritual leader, chose to enter the pageant, she says: “As an individual I am driven by the need to see people’s lives changed and impacted for good.  “I live to inspire and motivate individuals on their journey through life. My entry into the Mrs South Africa competition provides another platform to do just that.”  Lisa Madibe, a Mrs SA media executive, congratulated Shanon on her achievement.

“This is a huge achievement and we encourage her community to support her during her journey as a Mrs SA semi-finalist.” The judging panel includes current Mrs South Africa, Candice Abrahams, as well as businesswoman Cindy Nell Roberts, a former Miss South Africa.

The finals will be held on October 6.
