HIS GRACE WILL MAKE A WAY, OR .......Where will you Rather be?

Image result for picture of Jesus coming into a place

As the year is coming to an end, the drumbeat of the second coming of Jesus Christ is getting louder by the day and the question is... where will you rather be, at the coming of the Master?

Sisters, have you heard that Jesus Christ is coming back soon.  Remember that in His days on earth, women worked and supported Him greatly and when He arose from the dead, the first human He appeared to was a woman.

Does it bother you, brothers in Christ?  Have you realized that it can no longer be business as usual for the way and manner we behave with people around us and the way we do the work of God in the church and outside the church.

Have you realized that love must lead your actions and behaviours going forward. It is time for daily intense prayer asking for mercy and grace to run the race to heaven successfully and be found in Christ at the end of your lives...not in your own righteousness, but in the righteousness that is in CHRIST JESUS.

I know you want to succeed here on earth and also make heaven, but I want you to meditate on race to heaven and the challenges facing you in the race.

There are actually two races:
1. Race for success in life
2. Race for eternity in Christ

As you meditate on these two races, remember that many have succeeded in the second one and failed on the first race, many have succeed on the race for success in life and failed to make eternity in heaven.  Many are running the two races together and you will discover that many are half hot and half cold in their christian life.

One thing is clear....If you pursue money and wealth in this life, you may miss heaven.  Money and wealth is good, but with contentment, those running for eternity in heaven are happy with whatever God puts in their hands.

Do you ever reflect on your changes of making heaven with the Saviour when He returns to take the Saints home with Him? What is needed is a change of heart and approach to doing things.

The truth is that those troubles and challenges facing you today may not go away, so don't wait until you come out of sickness to seek God; Don't wait until you come out of poverty before seeking God.  Don't wait till you get married and have children before you seek God, Don't wait till you get employed before you will seek Jesus.

This is why Jesus said whosoever will follow Me will deny himself and carry his cross and follow me.  Those thing, challenges may be your cross....beloved, you will carry them and follow Jesus Christ along the way and when the time is ripe, He will remove them from your shoulders.

Your faith in Christ will surely be tested and touch times could be testes of faith and you will not fail in Jesus Christ name.

This Sunday, 24th December, 2017, let us all amend our ways.  No more compromises, seeking vain glory, bitterness, anger, lusting after evil things, worldliness and all such things, let us avoid as the end time is here with us.  Jesus is coming back soon and no man or event can stop that.

Brother/sister, where would you rather be?

I leave you with some of the word of Prophet Elijah to the Jews when they had departed from following the Lord, their God.

a. 2 Kings 1:16-17 -  Then he said to him, "Thus says the LORD, 'Because you have sent messengers to inquire of Baal-zebub, the god of Ekron--is it because there is no God in Israel to inquire of His word?--therefore you shall not come down from the bed where you have gone up, but shall surely die.'" So Ahaziah died according to the word of the LORD which Elijah had spoken. And because he had no son, Jehoram became king in his place in the second year of Jehoram the son of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah.

b. 1 Kings 17:1  -  Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the LORD, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, surely there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word."

c. 1 Kings 21:17-29  -   Then the word of the LORD came to Elijah the Tishbite, saying, "Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who is in Samaria; behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth where he has gone down to take possession of it. "You shall speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the LORD, "Have you murdered and also taken possession?"' And you shall speak to him, saying, 'Thus says the LORD, "In the place where the dogs licked up the blood of Naboth the dogs will lick up your blood, even yours."'"

d. 1 Kings 17:1-7  -  Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the LORD, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, surely there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word." The word of the LORD came to him, saying, "Go away from here and turn eastward, and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan. read more.

e. 1 Kings 18:1-6  -  Now it happened after many days that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, "Go, show yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain on the face of the earth." So Elijah went to show himself to Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria. Ahab called Obadiah who was over the household (Now Obadiah feared the LORD greatly; read more.

f. 1 Kings 17:14  -  "For thus says the LORD God of Israel, 'The bowl of flour shall not be exhausted, nor shall the jar of oil be empty, until the day that the LORD sends rain on the face of the earth.'"

g. 1 Kings 18:36-38  -  At the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet came near and said, "O LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel, today let it be known that You are God in Israel and that I am Your servant and I have done all these things at Your word. "Answer me, O LORD, answer me, that this people may know that You, O LORD, are God, and that You have turned their heart back again." Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt offering and the wood and the stones and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

h. 2 Kings 1:10-12  -  Elijah replied to the captain of fifty, "If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty " Then fire came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty. So he again sent to him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he said to him, "O man of God, thus says the king, 'Come down quickly.'" Elijah replied to them, "If I am a man of God, let fire come down from heaven and consume you and your fifty." Then the fire of God came down from heaven and consumed him and his fifty.

i.  1 Kings 21:20-24  -  Ahab said to Elijah, "Have you found me, O my enemy?" And he answered, "I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do evil in the sight of the LORD. "Behold, I will bring evil upon you, and will utterly sweep you away, and will cut off from Ahab every male, both bond and free in Israel; and I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, because of the provocation with which you have provoked Me to anger, and because you have made Israel sin. read more.

j. Isaiah 40:3-5  -  A voice is calling, "Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. "Let every valley be lifted up, And every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, And the rugged terrain a broad valley; Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, And all flesh will see it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."

k. Malachi 3:1  -  "Behold, I am going to send My messenger, and he will clear the way before Me And the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to His temple; and the messenger of the covenant, in whom you delight, behold, He is coming," says the LORD of hosts.

l. Malachi 4:5  -  "Behold, I am going to send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD.

m. 1 Kings 18:4-8  -  for when Jezebel destroyed the prophets of the LORD, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave, and provided them with bread and water.) Then Ahab said to Obadiah, "Go through the land to all the springs of water and to all the valleys; perhaps we will find grass and keep the horses and mules alive, and not have to kill some of the cattle." So they divided the land between them to survey it; Ahab went one way by himself and Obadiah went another way by himself. read more.

What excuse will you give God for not making heaven.  Will you say because your wife hindered you, or your husband? Is it your difficult children that is your problem? Will you say because you have not job, house, car or other things that make life easy, when you read that none of the prophets lived in luxury.

Will you say because your wife or husband left you to raise your children? Will you say that your parents did not educate you like other children.  Would you rather say it is because you have met with failures in life and nothing seem to be working for you as the reason why you remain in sin?

Brethren, lets fear God and love everyone around us, speaking the truth always to people and stop every act of compromise in the way.  The word of God says you are inexcusable o' man!

May the Lord bless you and strengthen your inner man to walk with Him afresh from today in the name of Jesus Christ.
