BLESSED ARE YOU, LOVERS OF ............The Beatitudes!

Believers encouragement unto blessing and righteousness!

The bible recalls how Jesus had been preaching and teaching that the kingdom of heaven was at hand, and encouraging people to repent and confess their sins and follow the way and the truth - which is through Him and His gospel.

But, when he saw a great multitude gathered to listen to Him, he decided to 'download' the Laws of the kingdom to the people in what today's people would probably call "His Gospel Manifesto", unveiling the foundations and character of life in the kingdom.

Jesus Christ, before He started His ministry was led the Spirit to John the Baptist for him to be baptized, after which the same Spirit led Him to the wilderness to destroy defeat the devil after which He started His preaching and teaching.

So. Jesus defeated the number one enemy of the gospel and righteousness, Satan, before starting his ministry.  This has remained the best way to enter into ministry.  The preacher or Pastor must work underground to destroy everything that will challenge his ministry before starting. Everything in the foundation of a person that can work against light is removed through deliverance prayers before the ministry can start.

If a pastor was married to an agent of darkness before he received his Calling and after confirming the call, he will do well to embark on deliverance prayers before he begins, otherwise, that woman will oppose and work against him till death.

Your husband is an occultist grand master and you are there declaring that you are a Pastor, pray and defeat the spirit controlling him in the spirit.  Thank God He hears and answers our prayers!

Jesus is the expected Messiah that met "The Ten Commandments" on ground and a people who believe the law of Moses is all in all and those who are able group of Jews who , given to Moses on Mount Sinai.

But, in contrast to the laws of Moses, the message of Jesus is one of humility, charity, and brotherly love. He teaches transformation of the inner person. Jesus presents the Beatitudes in a positive sense, virtues in life which will ultimately lead to reward.

The sermon on the beatitudes, Jesus provides a way of life that promises salvation, they also provide peace in the midst of our trials and tribulations.  It presented a new way to relate with others, look at the opposite sex and thinking.  Love becomes the principal things in the life of a believer, while the  Beatitudes in a way presents the practical application of love for God and man.  Whoever loves the Lord and his fellow men becomes a true born again christian.

These beatitudes becomes a mirror for believers who really want to be blessed  without stress.  It is a picture of God's mind for His children who are living by His word.  The qualities give a picture of the character of the true people of God, those who are a part of his kingdom and have the full blessings of the kingdom to look forward to.

Taken together, you will see in the beatitude, a kingdom lifestyle which believers should learn and live by, not only for their earthly blessing, but also for eternity sake.  Jesus was simply showing us the mind of God on those issues he thought them on the mount.

Jesus was also saying, if you want to be a disciple and eventually enter into the kingdom of heaven, here are the rules. Let us look at them closely.

Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to Him, and He began to teach them, saying:

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness,

for they will be filled.

Blessed are the merciful, for they shall be shown mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called the sons of God.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.

Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

What does these promises mean to me and you?

The meaning of these proclamations may be understood differently, but their central means will eventually be the same.  The way to approach this promises is to look at your life as a christian and discover the level of favour and blessing you enjoy from God as his child.

When you score low on favour and divine blessing, it means you need to understudy the beatitudes and change your beliefs and behaviours especially the ones that are contrary to the beatitudes.

The beatitude are some of the requirements for divine blessing.  Do you want to be blessed by God, learn and follow the beatitudes through as a simple lifestyle.

We will continue with this study or conversation in the next piece.
