MATHEW EFFECT........Why Should People that has, be Given More & the Rich gets Richer!

Mathew 13:12 - Whosoever has, to him shall be given and he will have more.

Its a priviledge to share God's word with you. This is intended to be a brief meditation on Mathew 13"12.

Many Christians wonder why people who have, should be given more. God's word is ever consistent and in it is words of direction, guidance, ordinances, statutes and warning.  In John, Jesus said any branch in Me that does not produce is cut off, while those producing fruits are PURGED...to allow them produce more.

So, when God gives us talent, it is for a purpose and that purpose must be fulfilled otherwise we run the risk of loosing it.  God will always want to see our faith and action working together.  This is why God delights in training us before giving us major assignment.  The slothful servant was in the house of the Master with other servants.  They received training from their Master and their Master having known their different capacities, gave them different amount of talent as he embarked on a journey.

First the Lord Trains us:

In our relationship with God, He will always train us and train us until we begin to change and amend until we become usable. It takes a long time for an average man to drop his earthly ambition and follow Christ whole heartedly.

God is committed to training His servant thoroughly, because it is well known fact that you cannot give what you do not have.  If you preach what you do not practice, it will not produce fruits and God does not allow someone to lead others to a place he has not been to.

God is committed to training His servants so they will not disgrace His Holy name when on the 'stage'.  The training is not an over night journey, it is gradual with examinations to be written and marked by God. As you pass your exams each stage of the test, you draw nearer to the appointed time for you to start preaching the Word of God.

Then Test comes - Mathew Effect

Mathew 13:12 - Whosoever has, to him shall be given and he will have more.
This scripture is a very popular one and yet remains a mystery.  God knows everybody's capacity and when a person is unable to perform to his capacity, then he should not expect more from God.  God does not waste resources.

It can also be looked at from a different perspective...God hate laziness.  Even the bible says that God is still working till now after He finished creation.  So the money or other resources given to us by God should be judiciously accounted for.

Remember the slothful servant that became envious of other servants that were given more talents than me. Instead of him to prove the Master was wrong in giving him only one talent, by working hard at the one talent and may be produce two or three additional talents, he rather buried the one talent given to him till his master returned, and it was taken away from him, and he was punished in the end - thrown into outer darkness!

Yet, we can say that the only way to maximize value is to encourage the man that understands his grace and is utilizing everything God gave him to the max...is to increase the gift to him and those who does not know how to utilize the same give, looses it.

Looked at differently, the case makes it clear to us believers, that there is no EXCUSE for not trying.  Nothing should make a believer not to attempt whatever he believes that is good and profitable to him and to his ministry.  No excuses for being idle.  If you try one business or area and it does not work, move to another.  Keep trying until you discover the right place or area.  Remember you have to ask, seek and when they fail, then you knock. there is an assurance that you will find.

The Lord will give you according to your ability, but if you prove to be capable of handling more, more will be given to you.  God love to see us succeed and when you prove you know what to do and you are doing it right, He increases you beyond your asking, so you can be a blessing.  I challenge you to be the best in whatever you are doing and see how some doors will open on their own accord unto you.  Its a spiritual law!

The Work of God is under the control of the Holy Spirit and so everything we do should be under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  For Pastors desiring a spiritual father, I have a question for you  "have you asked the Holy Spirit for direction"? Please ask Him and wait patiently till He answers you.  If you chose your own spiritual father without the leading of the Spirit, you are on your own.  It will not profit you. neither your ministry.

Let us commit to the spirit of excellence in everything we do, being diligent to return all praise and honour unto Him alone and He will increase us. Please note that the increase may come with its own test.  It is well with you.

The Lord bless His Word in your life today in Jesus Christ name. Please drop your comments.

Shalom
