28 Seasons of Life......Yet you Need Secrets Keys to Succeed - Bible Philosophy

A Reflection on the Seasons of Life...

Today, I am sharing my reflections about some truths discovered by King Solomon, a man endowed with wisdom that he can think, meditate and research on any matter under the sun from animals to vegetation.

Solomon discovered that God made everything beautiful in its time, but also discovered that God set the world at the heart of men...the desire to conquer the world,  so that no man can find out the works that God does from beginning to end.

He also discovered that whatever God does is shall be for ever.  Nothing can be added or removed from it.  He also saw under the Sun that in the place of righteousness, iniquity was also found there.  In the place of justice, you will find injustice and he described this secret as wickedness.

This is why we counsel people and say...Because you met someone in the church does not mean he/she is born again and Spirit filled.  Test the spirit controlling such a person before you begin to place trust and heavy reliance on such a person.

He described the 28 seasons of life and asked what profit has man for all his toils on earth and concluded that the best thing man should do is to eat and drink from his labour.  To rejoice and do good in his life.  This reflections is based on Ecclesiastes Chapter 3:

To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;
A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain, And  a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away;
A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;
A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.

What profit has the worker from that in which he labors?  I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied.  According to King Solomon, He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.

I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives,  and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor — it is the gift of God, says Solomon.  Solomon had some frustrations with his discoveries. He saw that there was not a perfect man or perfect thing on earth, but everything is good as God made them.

Secret keys of life
In life seasons come and go.  Men are brought to significance and others are brought low and life continues in a circle.  There are few things that remain permanent, the Word of God does not change.  If God's word does not change, certainly His promises and His mercy would not change. When King Solomon identified the seasons of life, it is for us to number our days and serve the Lord, because, as you know, it will soon be night, when no one can work.

Success in today's world requires a lot of skills mix and perseverance. No real success comes by change, if it is by chance, then get ready to return to your level when the money is gone, for it will go.  You should know how your success came, if your dream of maintaining it.  One attitude set that can be trusted to bring success season after season in life is to be focused and purpose-Driven.

Purpose-Driven Lifestyle

Life is in stages and people are at different stages in terms of age and purpose. There is a lot of struggle until a person identifies his purpose in life and key into it  fully. When you identify your purpose, life becomes easier as you would say "That you have reached your last bus stop".  This means that your wandering about in thoughts, thinking about your purpose and how to fulfill it and leave a mark behind has come to an end.

The human existence is a complicated matter, and the answer to most existential questions have not yet been found. But, each person is expected to discover himself and give his/her life a meaning by doing what he was created to do.  If you know you are for a purpose, there is a solution you were born to provide, your whole existence will be in conflict until you discover that purpose and live to fulfill it.

The truth is, you are in charge of your time and season and how best you utilize the opportunities that come your way, the better you will become. This is why it is important for every person to live a purposeful life. If you are not sure what a purpose-driven life is or how you can live one, check some of these points.  They are practical tips you can personalize as you climb the ladder of success in life.

1.  Develop your Talents and use them
Every one of us came into this world with one or more unique talents.  carrying a talent in our bones.  People that discover their talents early and pursue them do better in life.  They move rather fast in life, while those who discover their later in life do better that people who were diverted off their path by mwn or women, pleasure of the enemy.

If you want to live a purpose-driven life, you definitely need to find out which talent has been given to you naturally. This innate gift of yours is a huge part of who you are, and you need to follow it.  Therefore, try to find that special talent in your life. Remember, talent isn’t only about music, dance or arts. I know a Laboratory Technician, who is also into cosmetology.  He does alot of Lab-research about health and cosmetics. He know chemical combinations that can cure many illnesses including skin diseases.

2. Become a Professional
A profession is one who have decided to focus on one thing and to do that one thing better than others in the business or industry.  Once you choose a profession, you are no longer tossed about, rather you begin to develop skills in and around your profession that will make you function at a higher level of knowledge than others.

Before I answered the call to ministry, I was a financial professional with well developed financing, banking, auditing and stockbroking skills. I had a degree in Economics, a qualified Accountant, Banker and Systems Auditor.  I was also competent in stockbroking and financial advisory services.  To develop these diverse skill in finance took a long time, but it will surely make you knowledgeable and competent in your chosen career, and that was why, after some time, I was in the management team of many of the organizations I worked for.

3. Find a Passion
Life is nothing without something that fires you up and makes you want to get up every morning.  We’re talking about finding something you feel passionate about.  Passion is what drives us, gives us a purpose and helps us stay up and satisfied. It’s something we enjoy doing, care for deeply and fight for with our entire soul.

You’ll know that you have found your passion once you start enjoying what you do and willingly investing all of your energy in it.  You can you find a passion by staying focused on the things that make you happy, things you can spend your whole day doing, things of economic value that can make you forget food for a day.

4. Work On Self-Improvement
Some people feel that once they finish school and find a job, there’s nothing else for them to learn. This is dangerous to imagine, it is a recipe for depression and failure later in life.  This is very important when you have chosen a specific discipline to focus in life.  I have give the illustration of a Lab technician and that of myself.

You must find courage to begin again, after your first degree. Do a Masters degree and when you have meditated enough about your future, you can go for the Doctorate.  It's an utter shame to see a doctorate degree holder who is jobless and unsatisfied , even in the course he studied.  The question is who forced you to do the doctorate?  People today have had to do two and sometimes three PhD in different courses, which is confusion and lost opportunities.

5. Set Goals
Every moment of your life should be revolving around a goal you’ve set for yourself.  Never forget this...Without a clear goal in mind, you can hardly be focused and confident.  Without a goal, you are disoriented. Without a goal, everything goes, every idea is worthy for trial - NO!.  Set a goal or goals for your life that will drive your everyday activity and actions towards achieving that goal.

You can set goal in any area of life that will enhance your worth and better your future.  It can be finding a better job or saving the planet, finding a life partner or a good friend, learning about something you’re interested in.  It can be a venture that you want to explore for some huge financial reward, inter-state business from the North to the Eastern Nigeria, set a goal and a time limit for it.

Let your goals have milestones, but avoid strict deadlines when you want to achieve something. Life is unpredictable, so you can focus on the milestones and do your best.  Let the life move at its own pace and accept that it is never too late to achieve your goals.

6. Challenge Yourself

You will never be able to live a purposeful life if you don’t push yourself to try new things.  If you don’t get outside your comfort zone how can you find your passion? How can you meet new people? Have new experiences?

Ask for a new jobs, new assignment and seek opportunities to do something new, if you are the outgoing and active type, otherwise you become docile and trapped. If you are an Introvert, make you you are doing something challenging to your intellect. Learn to explore new things and you’ll be surprised how your life can gain meaning once you seize every opportunity that comes your way. Be bold to try new and challenging assignments, take a leap into the unknown, you need to push yourself if you want to make a change. Be bold and fearless to take calculated risk and venture out.

Further discoveries
King Solomon made further discoveries about creation and God and concluded that "Whatever God does, shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him.  That which is has already been, And what is to be has already been".

Moreover, he saw under the sun, that in the place of judgment, Wickedness was there; And in the place of righteousness, Iniquity was there.  I said in my heart, "God shall judge the righteous and the wicked, For there is a time there for every purpose and for every work."

I said in my heart, "Concerning the condition of the sons of men, God tests them, that they may see that they themselves are like animals."  For what happens to the sons of men also happens to animals; one thing befalls them: as one dies, so dies the other. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity.

God's Mercy
God's mercy can make a lot of difference in what we achieve and obtain in life.  If the grace of God be with a person, he can always be a success in what God has ordained for him.

We have the case of Moses who did not start his ministry until he was 80 years. There was the case of Abraham who also was called by God at the age of 75 years and yet he fulfilled his destiny in Christ, including becoming the father of many nations, which God had promised him. So if you think the seasons have you bye, remember that its better late than never.  Pray to God to renew your strength and restore you back.  It is important that a man fulfill the purpose of his creation and be fulfilled in life.

What to do
Friends, how have you fared so far in life? Have you been able to utilize the opportunities God have sent your way, season after season?  What about divine instructions that God has given you, have you done any of them, or you don't even know the voice of the Lord?

Are you above 50 years, and yet have not started on the assignment of God, don't give up, its better late than never.  Moses was commissioned by God at the age of 80 years and he served God for 40 more years.  What God did for Moses, He can do for you if you stick to Him.  Take a holistic view of your life and service in the kingdom.  God could still be preparing you for the assignment, while you are thinking you are getting old.

Jesus used the 30 years of His life to prepare for 31/2 years of active service and He was done. Make sure you are focused, well prepared as a vessel unto honour and certainly your time will come.  God's mercy will speak for you.
