Persons whose Names were prophesied before birth....And how they Ended!

INTRODUCTION:

The things of God are totally different from things of men. God is righteous and consistently righteous and faithful.  When God chooses a man, He knows the person's ability and capacity.

Sometimes, the choice of God may differ from the choice of man to the extent that you cannot explain the disparity, but if you will wait for a while, it will be clear the Lord's choice is the best.

If you look at Saul and David, Jacob and Esau, you will agree the Lord knows the end from the beginning.  Saul was a man of fear, who found it difficult to obey specific instructions.  You could see the spirit of rebellion in his actions - For disobedience to God's strict instruction is nothing short of rebellion.

But, look at David - Humble and completely unassuming.  He will always inquire from the Lord before he take major steps.  After the death of Saul, David had to ask God whether he should begin to reign over Israel or not.  Before every battle he fought, David will always inquire from God, which way to go!

In this world, there are children of promise, whom God announced their name before they were conceived in their mother's womb. Some of them were in fulfillment of God's promise to their parents, others were to accomplish God's agenda for the people's deliverance or restoration as the case may be.

As it is written in the Bible that God knows a person before he or she is conceived in the Womb of the Mother (Psalms 139, Jeremiah 1:5). In life, the beginning or the birth of a baby is celebrated, but the end of that child is more important than his or her birth.

Every one of the persons I am sharing their birth story in the bible fulfilled their assignment  before seeing death.  Fulfillment of destiny is more important than any other anything they did or achieved, and success in any other area, other than the area of 'Calling' is failure with God.

Apostle Paul said he had ran his race and completed his course...therefore a crown was waiting for him in heaven.  Peter also spoke of his time of departure being close.  So, these men succeeded in their assignments and I pray for you, that you will complete yours in Jesus name.

Here are the names of seven persons named before their birth in the Bible.

1. Jesus – (Matthew 1:21) “She shall bring forth a son; they shall call his name Jesus. For he shall save his people from their sins.

2. John the Baptist – (Luke 1:13) “The angel said fear, not Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and your wife Elisabeth shall bear a son and shall call his name John.

3. Issac – (Genesis 17:19) “The God said, Sarah, your wife shall bear a son and shall call his name Issac. And I will establish an everlasting covenant with his seed after him”.

4. Solomon – (1 Chronicles 22:9) “A son shall be born to thee, who shall be a man of rest. And I will give rest from all the enemies round about: for his name shall be Solomon, and I will give peace and quietness unto Israel in his days”.

5. Josiah – (1 King 13:2) “A child shall be born unto the house of David Josiah by name. He shall offer upon this altar the priests of the high place that burn incense upon it. Bones of men shall be burnt upon this altar. The altar shall be rent this day, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out”. And after 325 years this prophecy was fulfilled in (2 kings 22:1).

6. Cyrus – (Isaiah 44:28) “that saith of Cyrus, he is my shepherd, and perform all pleasure in liberating the Jews. The rebuilding of the temple of God at Jerusalem”. And after 175 years this prophecy was fulfilled in (Isaiah 45:1).

7. Ishmael – (Genesis 16:11) “An angel came to Hagar and said unto her you shalt bear a son and call his name Ishmael; because the Lord had heard your affliction.”

What is written concerning you?
The question to ask is "Do you know what God has spoken concerning you in the books.  Once you give your heart to Jesus, this is one of the assignment you are expected to do.  You should discover what was spoken about you, before you were born or immediately after.  Jesus discovered His own just before He started His ministry, when they gave Him the book of Isaiah to read in the synagogue, Luke 4: 18-19.

This is a destiny inquiry that will make you more determined to succeed and become who God created you to be.  Travel back to your Village, ask your parents, especially your mother, what things happened before your conception, during your pregnancy and after.  She can just narrow them to the major events For instance, was there a long delay before you were conceived?, Did your pregnancy last above the normal 9 months, what happened during your child birth and after?  Was there any prophesy concerning you.  Who named you and why did they give you the name you are answering?

I made this inquiry myself, and when my mother could not remember all the events, my senior sister downloaded what happened to me.  One of my sons, the Lord gave me his name even before he was conceived.  So, these issues are real, but only the spiritually minded can discern them.  They help you develop your spiritual gifts and remain focused in life.  They make you determine to succeed in the areas that God has gifted you to operate and then run your christian race faithfully.
