After the Scriptures come Hard work
Prosperity is worked out, it is never something you claim in prayer or command to flow into your life.  It is good to pray for prosperity, even to command money and favour into your life, but after your confession and command, you have to develop a business plan, academic plan etc that will be a platform for the kingdom wealth you are praying for.  You should also key into the Covenant of prosperity from the Lord and fulfil your covenant obligations, which includes hard work.

If you want to prosper as a child of God, the grace is available. All you need is light in the areas you are suffering hardship.  Prosperity is a complex matter than goes beyond financial breakthrough.  Are you able to handle financial abundance? Can you identify a viable business opportunity that will bring the millions? Do you have the capacity and training to manage human resources in your business, in the church and at home?  These are important questions that will help you prosper and remain successful in life.

How to Identify business opportunity
If you can spot an idea, whose time is ripe in an environment or the world, surely you are close to riches.  If you have an existing business and you want to do better, it is recommended that you ask the opinion of your customers and clients.  But if you don't have any existing business, you have to pick a business or service and research its prospects in your environment.  Find our the demand level for the product and what other products are in the market that meets the same need as that product or service and compare figures.  Research into the future of the product or service in the light of changing tastes of the people and their culture.

Business and people management
The Lord can open doors in a mighty way, far beyond our imagination, but can you manage the abundance that will come.  Can you use the resources for the purpose it is meant for?  A lot of brothers who received an 'Open heaven' in terms of God's favour to grow their business are not able to use the money for their business, because according to them, they have suffered a lot, and needed to refresh a little.  That's not bad, but if you can allow the business to stand and be established, you will have more years of refreshment and the success will touch more lives.

Business: The business thrives on four things.  These include:
1. Quality product or service that meets specific needs
2. Infrastructure to produce and deliver services to the public
3. Well trained and motivated staff.
4. Cashflow to run the business on a daily basis.

Financial Management:
Being good with money is about more than just making ends meet.  Life is much easier when you have good financial skills. How you spend your money impacts your credit score and the amount of debt you end up carrying. If you’re struggling with money management, how to manage your business finances etc.
Budget - Learn how to draw up a budget for your business and business.
Many people don’t budget because they don’t want to go through what they think will be a boring process of listing out expenses, adding up numbers, and making sure everything lines up.  You need a budget for everything you do that requires money to accomplish
Learn how to stick to your budget: You must learn how to discipline your ways and actions to make sure you stick to your budget.  Your budget is the road map, and whatever you did not budget should wait for the next budget or bring it into the budget, before the expense can be made.  Track every expense and write them down.  Do so every day and by the end of the week, you assess your expenses, vis a vis the budget.  Obtain a receipt for every business expense and file them as back-up for the expenses

People Management:
It’s important to build an environment where everyone’s opinion is heard. As much as you may want, don’t throw up a suggestion box or install a feedback app on Slack and leave it at that. In brief, consider the following:
EmpathyShow empathy toward employees who are facing tough professional or personal issues. Try to see things from their situation. Letting a team member off a couple hours early to pick up a loved one from the hospital, for example, goes a long way towards building empathy. Advocate for your team and stand up for them when things get tough. Empathy shows care and will motivate employees to work better.
Empowerment Empowerment means giving your employees the tools they need to succeed and then stepping out of their way. There should be enough to provide guidance but not so much as to create roadblocks in the process.
Reward & recognition - You must recognize and reward excellence.  Hard work and diligence should never be allowed to go un=noticed and rewarded.  Always reward members of your staff for their hard work.
