SPIRITUAL WARFARE......Learn to take the Accuser to the Court of God!

Introduction
In America and most Western civilizations, the judiciary is seen to be impartial and hardly ever bought with money because of the structures in place to safeguard it.   For instance in America - A jury is a panel of impartial people who listen to all evidence presented in a court trial and render a verdict.

In the USA, potential jurors are chosen at random from voter registrations and driver’s license renewals. Jury duty is not optional for anyone so summoned in the United States. Part of living in a free society is that every citizen must be willing to participate in the governmental and judicial systems that help keep it free. Because their court system relies on the jury system, thousands of citizens are summoned each year to be screened as possible jurors.

This is not the case in many other nations outside the West.  In Nigeria and indeed Africa, we have only the court system, which is doing their best, but when a matter is between a 'big man' i.e rich and wealthy man and the poor man, except the poor man pray hard, there is no guarantee of justice to that poor man.

Power

We all know that the gospel is not in letters, but in power.  The gospel is the demonstration of the power of God to save and deliver from the uttermost.  When a believer is tormented by an accuser in a spiritual battle, or taken to Court of law, I will advise him to take that 'Tormentor' to the Court of the Almighty God.

Hear what God said Isaiah 41:21  "Present your case," says the Lord. "Bring forth your strong reasons," says the King of Jacob.  The Lord says cry to me and I will show you mercy and great things you know not.

He says "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.  When you pass through the waters, I will be with you.  And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.  When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.

Righteous Judge
For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior.  I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honoured, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life.

The Lord says  I am the ultimate Judge - "I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; And I will not remember your sins.  Put Me in remembrance, let us contend together, State your case, that you may be acquitted.

Brethren, I have learned to petition the Almighty God, when the battle becomes unbearable because He says to me   "Present your case," says the Lord. "Bring forth your strong reasons," says the King of Jacob.  He continued by saying   Put Me in remembrance, let us reason together, State your case, that you may be acquitted.

You know why it is that way, He the Almighty God is the Ultimate Judge.  He blotted my transgressions away for His namesake and promised not to remember my sins any more.  He also promised never to leave or forsake me, so that when I pass through the fire, He will be with me. when I pass through the valley of the shadow of death, I will see Him behind me.  He fulfilled this promise in the case of the three Hebrew boys in the book of Daniel - Shed-rack, Mishak and Abednego - He will fulfil it in my own life.  He promised to help me when I come to Him.

KNOW THE TRUE SITUATION:

Many times, the purpose of the accusation is to subvert your cause and God approveth it not!

Another reason is to hinder and if possible put a stop to the good work you are doing...and Again, God approveth it not!

Realize Your Real Battle (Eph. 6)
All lies and false accusations stem from the Devil, who is the father of lies, as taught by Jesus in John 8:44. Our battle, then, is against "the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Eph. 6:12).

Don't be Afraid off the Enemy
The righteous is as bold as the Lion - No sentiments at all.  If you don't deal with the enemy confronting you, he will deal with you.  Not only will he bring the work of God to a stop in your life, but he might also even kill the person, God forbid.

Defend Your Ministry (2 Cor.)
Consider taking the apostle Paul's approach with the Corinthians. In his second epistle, he defended himself by being honest about his credentials as an apostle, a leader, and a man who truly loved serving God. He stressed his unconditional love for the Corinthian congregation because he wanted to make sure they were aware that he had their best interest at heart.  Make some decrees!

Don't wait until they kill you:
The enemy is very wicked and no believer is expected to fold his arms when the battle over his life and ministry is raging.  Whether you like it or not, there is spiritual warfare to fight, especially when you are a man on a mission for God.  The enemy will resist and oppose you and the earlier you gather the spiritual weapons to fight back, the better for you.

WEAPONS:

A believer who cannot confront the enemy has no ministry. For effectiveness in this kind of prayer, you need to understand where the enemy is coming from and his ways of operation and weapons. Is he a wizard, grandmaster of any secret society,?  Is he a marine agent, occultist or a herbalist or simply a Satanist.

You may have to investigate the enemy the more to find his.her level in the kingdom of darkness. Is he among the Principalities, or among the Powers, or among the Rulers of darkness of this world or is he among the people operating at the level of Spiritual wickedness in High Places?  The enemy's level will determine the spiritual weapons you will deploy against him.

You must realize it is in your power to rebuke Satan and his agents.  You can also bind certain things and demons, but you cannot bind the devil - Lucifer himself because his time to be bound has not come.

The following weapons are very effective for though spiritual battles:
  1. The Word of God
  2. The Blood of Jesus Christ
  3. The East Wind of the Lord
  4. The fire of the Holy Ghost
  5. The name of Jesus Christ
  6. Praises, Praises and Praises
  7. Angelic Assistance from Elohim
  8. Prayer
There are other weapons and how to deploy them will be discussed in another piece.

Prayer -  Rules for Prayer

Prayer has some rules and assurances to the one praying.

If there is a man to pray, the God of heaven will answer, but you must ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts, is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.

Ask what you want - And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

Don't be anxious - There is yet another rule for prayer, which says "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  The moment you become anxious while praying or after praying, it means you don't have faith that God will answer the prayer.

Address your sin - You should know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. W walk in obedience to the Word of God and forsake evil sin and the evil way so that when you pray, we can be sure the Lord has heard us.  If He does not hear our prayer due to our sin, such prayers would not be answered.  Notice that because of sin, we are drawn away from God.

God is near you - Whoever is praying to God should know that the Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfils the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.  The Lord is near to all who call to Him in truth, however, He answers the cry of those that fear Him - Psalms 145.  This truth should inspire confidence in you as it is written: This is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.

God hates Eyes service - God does not like eye service and He does not want to see such hypocritical behaviour, that is why He says “Beware of practising your righteousness before other people in order to be seen by them, for then you will have no reward from your Father who is in heaven. “Thus, when you give to the needy, sound no trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may be praised by others.

Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you. “And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward.

Pray always - Remember that a Christian ought always to pray and not lose heart. He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ For a while he refused, but afterwards he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’” ...

Be Humble - “Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’ But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Be compassionate - If you turn away your ears from the cry of the poor, from hearing the word of God, even your prayer is an abomination unto the Lord.

Forgive - And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”
