NEWNESS OF LIFE..........Is Foundation for Exploits in the Kingdom

1. Life of Holiness and faith in God
2. Life guarded by His Spirit and the Word
3. Life of Honour, God's power and glory
4. Life of freedom from fear, sickness, disease and death
5. But you must separate yourself from the crowd,
6. Cleanse yours dark regions and yield totally to the Holy Ghost
7. The promises are indeed great, and the choice is yours!

The bible in Romans 6:4 talks about walking in newness of life.

Living a new life in Christ is possible.  Living as one who were buried with Christ in baptism unto death and who was also raised up from the dead by the glory of the walk in newness of life is possible Rom 6:3-4.

No matter what your life story may look like, the hardship, rejection and frustration you have experienced in life, once you are redeemed from your sins, you can walk in newness of life.

This is done by His Spirit, the Holy Spirit and the scriptures (The Word of God) working together in your life will give you the boldness and power to resist sin and walk in holiness.  This is why we preach that you should study and meditate on the Word of God every day, not just to find a solution to your problems, but also to find Jesus, the solver of all problems.

If you be in Christ, you are a new creature, old things are passed away, and all things have become new for you.

What this scripture is saying is that in Christ, your old nature is crucified with Him and that the body of sin is also destroyed.  Henceforth, you should not serve sin.  That scripture means to say that whosoever is dead is freed from sin, so you should reckon yourself to be dead unto sin and alive unto God through Jesus Christ.

How will it happen?

A simple person will ask how does being dead with Christ and rising with Him as they say, give you the power to walk without sin and in newness of life?

Child of God, the mystery of our salvation is that Christ did not just redeem us from sin and death, but as you receive Him as Lord and Saviour, He gives you His grace to walk in newness of life.

This is made possible by the Holy Spirit and the Word, working in you.  The two combined will produce holy brothers and sisters in Christ.  The newness of life is living in holiness, and holiness is the pathway to unlimited grace, answered prayers and continuous honour.  Holiness is the pathway to the manifestation of God's glory and power in a person's life.

If you have the Holy Spirit without the word, your vessel will be cold and not holy.  The moment your vessel is not holy, the Holy Spirit will leave and you are alone again, as though you never received the Holy Spirit at all.  For you to be transformed, the Holy Spirit will show your errors and remind you of the scriptures relating to them and encourage you to amend your ways.

Though evil increase:
Don't worry that temptations are many, people are not trustworthy, but in the midst of darkness, the light shines.  You can live and walk in newness of life in this end times. But it will be your choice.

You will have to choose between the Flesh and the Spirit, who to listen to, you will have to choose between the purity of heart and filthiness. You will choose between studying the Word and reading newspapers and watching movies. You will choose between developing your inner man and beautifying your outer body and decorating it.

The Lord told Joshua that if he will meditate on the Word day and night to observe and do all that is written there, then shall he made his ways prosperous.  If you will serve the Lord with all your heart, spirit, soul and body, you shall also make your own way prosperous, be fruitful and inherit eternal life.

So, if you truly want to walk in the newness of life, which is your reasonable walk, the Lord says do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has the light with darkness?

Separate Yourself
He say "what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?  And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.  and God has said: "I will dwell in them, and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

Therefore, everyone that wants to walk in newness of life should  "Come out from among them (The unbelievers) and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you."  'I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty."  2 Cor 6:14-18

Child of God cleans up your dirty vessels and be led by the Holy Spirit of God.  Walking in newness of life is very sweet because it is a life of power.  A life where the Spirit of God tells you things to come, so they do not take you at unawares.  It is also a life of freedom.  You are not under the dominion of sin and so, there is no fear, no sickness, no disease and every attempt by the devil to afflict you, you return their arrow back to the sender.

Cleanse Yourself
Beloved, Apostle Paul admonished us in  2 Cor 7:1 saying "Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God".

The promise that the Lord will be our God and we, His children is great. for us to perfect holiness, we need to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness.  You alone know the areas of your life that need the blood of Jesus to cleanse.  You alone know where you have locked-out the Holy Spirit in your life.

Yield everything to the Cross
You know those aspects of your life you are keeping to yourself.  You cannot afford to let go of them over these years...It may be forgiveness, secret sin etc.  If you will move upward now, you have to allow the Holy Ghost take-over that dark area of your life and cleanse it. You cannot continue in that bondage, while you sing praises to God every Sunday.

Let us clean up our dark places, for all unrighteousness is sin, and sin brings reproach, sickness, disease and untimely death.  But to walk in newness of life, you are guided by the Holy Spirit and the Word.

Embrace Holiness
You have nothing to do with unrighteous works, which the world call wisdom. The crookedness, lie telling and deception, which they call 'smartness' is not for you.  Your integrity is intact and by His grace, you shine like a star in this dark age.

A life of holiness is a life of power with God when your prayers are answered without delay and more than anything else, the Lord blesses you with those things you need before their need arises.  For instance, you will be in need of 10 hectares of land next year, but before that time, someone comes on his own and gives you the land, saying God asked him to give you.  That's the kind of favour holiness attract.

Surrender all
You may still experience pain, but it will only last for a while...because as you cry to God, the burden is removed and you continue in PRAISES.  Notice people living right always praise the Lord for His goodness.  The Lord will include your name among the saints today in Jesus name.

Be Holy in Conversation

Being holy in all our conversations is one of the advice that helps believers realize who they are in Christ. I believe it should be followed by the warning ....of Apostle Paul to the Corinthians that "evil communication corrupts good manners" 1 Cor 15:33.   You are not just any one...NO. You are a servant of God, an Ambassador of Christ, called and separated unto God for His praise, so your conversation, jokes and lifestyle should glorify Him.

The word we speak in conversations can bring blessings or curses upon our lives, can encourage other people or discourage them, can build people or destroy them.  In conversation, our strength and weaknesses are revealed; our character also and lack of character is revealed.

One of the ways to show forth the light of Christ is in our conversations is to recognize the gift of gifts and ability - God in our conversation and not justify our success to hard work only. Who gave you the wisdom, strength and good people that supported you? What we say in our conversations, business discussions and even the jokes we crack will give an indication of the state of our heart and what we believe - Self, friends or God.  It should be God first, then others in that order.

Be ye holy in all manner of conversations requires delicate separation from the evil patterns of this world unto God.  It requires that you speak the truth and only the truth to your neighbour and your enemies.  It requires that you are the same person on the pulpit and at home and office.  It requires our conversations will be filled with words of grace, words that edify the person we are talking with.

Truth spoken in love, not only edify, but it also heals wounds and helps people amend their weaknesses without being emotionally depressed.  This is very important as many people reject any form of judgmental opinion.  Holiness in our conversation with people means we recognize the importance of conversation in our walk with the Lord.  Human activity is full of conversation as all interaction is a conversation with someone, be they familiar or not.

It is to recognize that the purity of our heart, the sanctification of our body finds expression in our comments and opinion.  The proof of our faith is in the confessions we make and other faith actions we take.  Interaction is critical because it is in conversation that we make known our stance on issues.

A conversation need not be in the church or open for it to be holy.  It may be formal or informal, structured and unstructured, planned and impromptu.  All conversations that a child of God finds himself engaging in is an opportunity to exhibit his godly characters and convictions that glorify his Father in heaven. It could be text messages,  meetings, phone calls, chatting with family members, friends and relations, business associates, your boss and colleagues in the office or on any of the social media, make sure it is edifying.

God commanded us to be holy...for I am holy, says the Lord.  Every child of God in the race to heaven must a man of his word, honest and truthful person.  A man or child of God must speak the truth in his heart always and be careful not to tell lies or speak half-truth.  He must know that the Lord is watching and that every idle word will be judged.

Being holy in all manner of conversation, which is the will of God, even your sanctification, is helping believers to be mindful of the word they speak, is with grace and the truth.

The race to heaven is a noble one that requires everyone running to be discrete and passionate to the end.  The standards of God are not likely to change for any individual or group, so everyone in the race will be judged the same, whether you are a Preacher or a follower, the same standard will be used to judge them.

Being holy in conversation is critical to your daily purity.  If you dwell in filthy or dirty conversation, you are not only dishonouring yourself, you are also opening multiple doors to the enemy to enter into your heart later and tempt you with those dirty jokes.  I have heard a lady speak and everyone there shouted in disbelief...that this gentle looking lady could speak such dirty words. That's the result of filthy conversation overtimes.

“Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” Have a pure speech, made mighty by the grace of God. Be sober without gloom, be serious with cheerfulness. Have such a conversation as is suited to lift hearts to a higher plane. Your words should be such as to make better those you talk with and make them feel that there is something higher for them.

If truely you are holy, have a pure heart, love God and your neighbour, your comments and words will reveal it.

Finally, May the God of peace, be with you.
