HOW TO .........Battle (Pray) your Way out of a Chronic Disease!

Faith is your connection to Victory!

Introduction
Prayer is a way of life for Christians.  Prayer is the first devotional we should learn and understand very well because prayer is a way of talking to God and we should do this every day.  Prayer is not restricted to making requests to the Lord for help, we also listen to hear His response and instructions for our daily blessing and victory.

For these reasons, there are prayers for every occasion, from a simple salvation prayer to deeper cry for healing and even vengeance.  devotionals that help facilitate and strengthen one's spiritual journey.  When it comes to sickness and healing prayers, Jesus said many prayers for healing, curing the sick as he walked this earth.

When faced with temptation, danger, heartache, anxiety, and fear, Christians can ask God for help. Before starting each day, they can pray to invite God to be a guide through stressful and challenging times. Weaving prayer into the fabric of everyday life opens up opportunities to be more aware of God’s presence throughout the day.

Sickness falls upon us without notice, but we must choose to fight back for our healing, which has already been paid for by Christ. We choose healing through prayer and by speaking His truth over our lives.

Faith takes work, and healing, except on rare occasions, doesn’t just happen on its own. Faith is active and alive, and it must be acted upon. His word is truth, and His word produces faith.

Speak these scriptures and this confession over your life to strengthen your faith in God for the healing you need and deserve. He paid for it; don’t let it go to waste. Don’t give up! The bible says "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart". Jeremiah 29:13

God’s Word is medicine for our spirit, soul and body, and the way we experience its power is by speaking it out loud, praying it to God, meditating on it, and believing it. When you speak His Word over your life, it releases the power of God into your life. It won’t work for us if we just have a Bible on a shelf and leave it on a shelf. We have to use it. Use it to plant faith into your heart for healing and victory. The promises of healing in the Bible can and will heal you.

Confessions

If you need to, make changes to the confession below to make it more real and personal to you. Faith is personal. Write down scriptures that jump out at you and take them with you.

Say them all the time. Say pieces of this confession all day long. Get it into your heart and speak it out. Speak it out till it is more real to you than cancer.

I am healed. I will live and not die. I will fulfil my destiny. I will fulfil my calling. I will live out my days in Jesus Name. My faith in God is strong. I pay no attention to my body. I am healed. I will live a good life.

I am motivated and strong. I hear the voice of God and I obey His commands. My faith is alive, working, and strong. My faith is growing faster than cancer. I curse the cancer cells and they are dying in Jesus Name. The cancer cells are dying and my cells are being renewed every day.

Lord, I hear your voice. I have the faith to win this battle. I will win. I will overcome through faith in God. I have the victory. The treatments and medications are working and I will not have any side effects.

God’s mercy and grace is sufficient for me. His power is burning out cancer in my body. His mercy overshadows all that I am and all that I do. Lord, I receive your mercy. I receive your healing for me.

My hope is in God and in His promises alone. I will be healed. I will be whole. God is big enough. God is faithful enough. Jesus paid the price for my healing on the Cross and I will receive it. Jesus and I will not have this healing stolen from us.

I curse this sickness and I curse its effects. I will be made whole. I will not suffer long-term damage. I will not suffer side effects from the treatments. I refuse this sickness in my body and I curse it in Jesus Name. It will come to an end.

I will be healed from this cancer. I will be cancer-free in Jesus Name! I am going to live and not die. The power of God is real. It is working in my body. It is healing me. It is restoring me. The Spirit of God is killing the cancer cells. My body’s cells are strong and alive. I am alive and well. I am healthy and whole.

It does not matter what I feel like. It does not matter what my mind thinks. My heart knows that I am whole. My heart knows that I am healed in Jesus Name.

God is alive. God is real. His word is real. His word is healing me. His word will do it. I am healed in Jesus Name!

Keep speaking and believing. Do not give up. Speak your hope and your faith, and not the problem. Fight it with everything you have.

Praying for Healing

A cry for healing is among our most urgent prayers. When we are in pain, we can turn to the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, for healing. It doesn't matter whether we need help in our body or our spirit; God has the power to make us better.

The Bible offers many verses we can incorporate into our prayers for healing, but it is important to have a healthy relationship with the Lord.  No matter the occasion, spontaneous, heartfelt prayer is the natural outgrowth of a healthy relationship with God and a genuine life of faith.

Jesus showed us a major aspect of prayer, which is Fasting.  Those of us in the ministry should try fasting weekly as we are able to wait, and it will certainly help our faith growth and answered prayer.

Praying Scriptures - Whatever be the sickness

1. LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me. (Psalm 30:2).
2. The LORD sustains them on their sickbed and restores them from their bed of illness. (Psalm 41:3).
3. Heal me, LORD, and I will be healed; save me and I will be saved, for you are the one I praise. (Jeremiah 17:14).
4. By your stripes, I am healed - But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds, we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5).
5. Lord, let your anger be turned away from me - I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for my anger has turned away from them. (Hosea 14:4).

Conclusion
Many Christians struggle with developing a prayer life. Often, they make prayer more complicated than it ought to be. The Bible can help unravel the mystery of prayer. By understanding and applying Scripture properly, Christians can learn to pray effectively and unceasingly.

Jesus demonstrated what cultivating prayer looks like. He often retreated to quiet places to be alone with God the Father, as evidenced by this passage from Mark 1:35: “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
