       CARRIERS OF HIS GLORY

INTRODUCTION:

The Almighty God knows we come from different background in life and so our experiences are diverse. And so He provides us with opportunities and challenges commensurate to our background and experiences, and then watches at our performances, zeal and sincere ambitions in the things of the Kingdom.

A handsome looking man is okay, but what is the condition of his heart? A zealous and committed man is also fine with God, but for how long will he remain zealous? A brave man is also okay with God, but again does he have the fear of God?

Qualities: God is looking for a humble and sincere heart, pure and committed to Him and the works of the kingdom.  God is also watching to ensure there is no rebellion inside the heart of such men, He would select and use.   A man that will submit to the authority of God in all things and do God's will is the man that God is looking for all the time.

David was a brave soldier under the camp of King Saul, whom the Spirit of the Lord had departed from, yet he was still the King of Israel. David remained loyal to the authority of God under Saul, despite the attempts Saul made to kill him.

Saul used his position and authority to kill David without success in a complex power equation that reigned in Israel at that time.  King Saul and David were both anointed with the oil of God. Saul was on the throne as the King of Israel, while David was a King in waiting.

For refusing to kill the king of Amelek and the best of the sheep and oxen, Saul rebelled against God and disobeyed His word, and God rejected him and set his kingdom aside. God anointed David king of Israel, while Saul reigned.

What was the heart condition of David after he was anointed to be the next King of Israel?  Did he devise his own strategy to kill Saul and take over the throne?  NO! When the opportunity came for David to kill Saul, did he kill Saul?  NO!  Even when Saul died in battle, David had to ask God what he should do.  Why?Because David feared the Lord and had respect for the anointing of  the Lord God of Israel that was on the head of Saul.

God's choices are always right and His decisions righteous. God chooses men and women whose heart is after Him, and who can be trusted in the years to come in the area of obedience, faith and holiness.  People with such qualities as David are unique in the eyes of God and though Satan may relegate them to the background and make them look insignificant, God sees them and knows them from their mother's womb.

Every child of God can carry His glory if we desire to be outstanding in the things of God.  It begins from the heart.  When you purpose in your heart to please God, He sees your heart and knows your intentions.  But He will allow time to test your proposition and be sure you mean what you are saying.

Though His angels will be guiding you, trials and temptations will follow that will test the resolve in your heart...and God will be watching to see, if you will remember the promises you made to serve Him and do His will.

If persecutions did not change your mind, then hardship will come to test your endurance and prove if your saying are rooted in the love of God and His kingdom.

Brethren, Hardship is a tougher test than persecution.  Many times, the hardship is usually supervised by demonic agents with the ability to pro-longed the hard times. When hunger and reproach test a man and he survives it, without murmuring and complaining, without being offended by God and accusing God of neglecting him, such a man has a future with God.

Conquerors: It is men of faith, perseverance and trust in God that conquers Kingdoms, subdue powers and penetrate forbidden regions with the gospel of Jesus Christ.  They are usually as bold as the Lion, fearing nobody, because they know the presence of God is with them.

These qualities are developed many a times under difficult and harsh conditions.  Those carriers of His glory would have severally been tested with life threatening conditions that would force them decide that - it's either God answers them or they perish.  Certainly, when God see their faith, He will answer them and their faith will rise with full assurance that their God answers prayers.

This piece is coming to challenge you to desire to be one of the carriers of God's glory.  You can desire to change the world, using the gospel of Jesus Christ as the platform and you will see the hand of God upon your life and family.

Remember it all begins from your heart.  Many are called, but few are chosen.  Will you like to be one of the chosen few today? If you say YES, the presence of God will lead you to your next level.

You may be saying - How do I begin to desire and do the work of God? The first step is to give your heart to Jesus and be committed to following Him and being like Him, and His grace will be sufficient for you to overcome all challenges and be fruitful in the things of God and man.  Let's see what the bible say about His grace:
