Introduction

By now, you will agree that there are plenty of things going on around us that are scary, but the bible says, God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. 

There are many secrets that the devil tries to hide from the believer. For example, the devil tries to make the believer think he doesn't have any limitations. The truth is this: unto every problem, there is an unprotected forehead of their Goliath you can hammer. There is a stone you can throw and whatever the problem is, there is always an unprotected forehead.

I prophesy upon the life of someone, whether it is convenient for the enemy or not, whether the enemy like it or not, whether the enemy thinks you can do it or not, your stone of prayer; your arrow of prayer shall locate the unprotected forehead of your Goliath, in the name of Jesus.

If you are a very careful reader of scripture, you will find out that the devil miscalculates. For example, it was a serious miscalculation for the devil to allow Paul and Silas to be thrown into jail. He threw them into jail because he didn't want them to minister salvation to the people. If he had known the prison into which he threw them would become an earthquake of deliverance and a noisy thing, he would not have allowed them to be thrown there.

There are many things the devil cannot do:

    He cannot plead the blood of Jesus
    He cannot pray because there is nobody to pray to
   The devil cannot be omnipresent; he has to send his servants all over the place

This is why any other power you are trying besides the power of Christ, bible, and prayer will collapse and fail. The most terrible of witch doctors fear the prayer of believers, but this is a funny situation: the enemy is afraid of you, you are afraid of the enemy. You are running when the enemy should be the one on their heels. 

One thing that worried Goliath was that in Goliath's lifetime, nobody ever ran towards him. He was used to pursuing people. GOLIATH IS COMING! GOLIATH IS COMING!! He was used to people running away, but for the first time, he confronted a fearless young boy who ran towards him and that destablized him.

I decree upon your life that you will run towards your Goliath and bring him down, in the name of Jesus.  Satan cannot enter paradise. He does not know everything. If he knew, he would not have crucified the Lord of glory. One thing that many believers do not know is that YOU CAN FRIGHTEN THE ENEMY. 

A lady was trying to deliver a baby and there was a demonic widower trying to do the delivery which resulted in the delivery becoming difficult. The lady was in pain as she tried to deliver. The labor and delivery nurse was saying, "Push! Push! Push!"
 

When life was fleeing the woman trying to give birth, she said, "please go next door and call mama aladura (prayer woman) to come". She requested for the prayer woman because as life was getting out of her, she saw four creatures surrounding and pinching her. She said to the labor and delivery nurse, "Can't you see these people pinching me?" The labor and delivery nurse replied, "I can't see anybody here." The woman trying to give birth said, "Okay, leave me alone and go call mama aladura." She insisted.
 

The four creatures then talked to one another saying, "Let's leave. Let us leave now. Don't let that woman (mama aladura) meet us here because she will deal with us. Let's go! You remember what happened to demon so, so and so? Let's go before this woman comes here!"
 

This woman who was about to give birth was hearing the discussions of the evil creatures. She insisted strongly, "Bring Mama! Leave me alone! Bring Mama Aladura!" So they went and got mama. Before mama got in, the demons had varnished. Mama just said, "ORUKO JEEEEEESU (IN THE NAME OF JESUS)!" and the baby came out because the demon there were afraid of mama aladura!

May you terrify your enemy.

One of the greatest problems of modern day Christianity is fear. Fear plays into the hand of the enemy. The truth is this: God's children are immune to powers of darkness.

    It is fear that that says the witch next door will kill you
    It is fear that says your miscarriage is coming again
    It is fear that says you will never find a husband
    It is fear that says your father has cursed you and nothing will work
   It is fear that says why are you wasting your time praying, go to your village and look for help
    It is fear that says the sickness cannot go away
    It is fear that says if you leave that sugar daddy, you will starve to death
    It is fear that says if you leave that boyfriend, you will never get another husband
    It is fear that says don't pay too much tithes or you will become broke
    It is fear that says I know I won't pass this examination
    It is fear that says I don't like this my husband's secretary; she's too beautiful, she will steal my husband away.
    NOTE: Your husband can steal himself away without any secretary
    It is fear that says my mother-in-law is a witch, my father-in-law is a lodge member, what kind of marriage is this?

Fear is a Terror
This leads many believers to go striking a deal with the devil! If you try it and it backfire. Fear consumes our energy. Fear leaves us empty. Fear makes us ineffective. Fear is a parasite. Fear is real.

Fear is tangible and the more it controls a child of God, the more helpless and broken he feels. I pray for you today...That every fear of the enemy loose its grip upon you in Jesus name. We must never surrender control to the devil through fear. Fear is a tool in the hand of the devil to overthrow your faith and put the person in bondage. 

I’m not saying fear isn’t real, but here's the antidote.  When ever you are afraid or feel threatened by anything or anybody, take your bible and pray with scriptures for protection like Psalm 91, 20, 35 etc. After your prayer, believe the Lord has heard your petition and His angels are dispatched to guide and protect you.  Do nothing else,but trust in the Lord.  if your hands are not clean, then, you must repent and apologize to the person who have offended before you pray for divine protection.  Make a call to the person or persons, ask them to forgive you, and after the call(s), pray for protection with the scripture and you will be fine.

Remember the promises of God meant to help people overcome fear: 
Isaiah 41:10 says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (NIV).

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Spiritual Battles

Spiritual battles are won with the help of the Holy Spirit of God. It is important for a believer to understand spiritual battles and how to contend with the enemy.  First you have to understand spiritual battles.

Nature of Spiritual warfare

In spiritual warfare, we may know the person troubling us, his family and everything about him, but that man is not our problem , the devil is only using him, because he is close to us.  The devil could use any other person that is close to us too. So, as believers, we do not take spiritual battle personal, thinking our friend or brother is the enemy, NO! He is not the enemy, the devil is the enemy. 

If you miss this point, then your spiritual battles will be a painful and agonizing experience. The devil is the enemy, and so our prayer should be directed at the enemy and for God to frustrate him and the agent he is using to trouble us. This is why the bible say...Though we walk in the flesh, but our battle is not canal.  We are not fighting the flesh or according to the flesh.  We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.  

Fight not canal

Our fight is not canal, so believers must put on the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.  Your fight will be canal, if you take it personal and confront the person and fight physically, we should instead pray that God will frustrate them. 

Spiritual warfare involves a lot of commanding the evil spirit to leave, and so we must ourselves submit to God. If we submit to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us, otherwise the demons will resist the command  and in other cases, challenge the Believer. If you yield yourself to the Lord, He will cause your enemies that come against you to flee.  The scriptures says “The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.  The Lord will cause wicked plots against the righteous to backfire to the sender.  

The bible says the wicked draw the sword and bend their bows to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose way is upright; their sword shall enter their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked.

The Lord will make sure that No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall confute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”

Remember King David, a bold and courageous man, who did not loose a single battle has good news for believers.  He says to them in Psalms 37:  "Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers! For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness. Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will bring your plans to pass".

Know that God knows. 
God knows what you don't know. He always sees and has promised to make a way of escape for you in every difficult situation.  He sees the beginning as well as the end of every matter, all you need to do is to walk in faith towards the Lord, believe His word and embrace to do them.  Walk through your day with God, walk in obedience and He will give you peace. This means, that you commit your work and ways into His hands and any time there is an issue, you pray and talk to God.  Open the entire matter ti Him and ask for His help.  You must listen and be expectant, and He will answer you and give you instruction that will release you from the problem.

If God is for us? (Rom. 8:31)
Doubts may surface and uncertainties may arise, but be calm in the storm, and know that God will never abandon you. He will never have enough of you. He will deliver you from every danger, and remember it is according to your faith.  So a fearless christian is a faith-filled believer, who will trust the Lord in every situation in life and have no personal alternative.  

Because you have no alternative ways of getting you solution, your eyes and mind is fixed on the Lord, and He cannot ignore such a strong faith.
